I am looking to run my first peptide cycle. I am running it mainly for an old back injury which has been fairing up at gym whenever I deadlift heavy. I would not mind the added benefit of the increased muscle mass and improved sleep though either!

So from what I have read the best two peptides to run for the synergy is Ipamorelin and CJC-1295. My question is should I take these peptides twice or three times a day and what amounts should I use? I currently weigh 75kg and from what I have read you reach saturation point at 1mcg per kg. Therefore I should be using 75mcg. Should I be using 75mcg per peptide per injection or 75mcg over the whole day (e.g 25mcg per injection)?

Thanks a lot for the help!

Have you diagnosed the injury ? Can peptides assist in recovery with the specific injury ? If so then use 75mcg per peptide per injection. I would run it Morning/Afternoon and before bed.

Whats your age ?

Hi Oupa,

Thank you for the reply!

I am 28 years old. It was an old permeated/slipped disk. I let it heal properly after the injury but as I said it gives me a bit of trouble when I go over the 145 -150kg mark on deadlifts. I have done some reading on the subject and peptides through the GH seem to help with the repair and joint stress.

So basically I will need 225mcg a day of both the peptides?

Ipam/CJC are definitely worth a shot for improved recovery and the other benefits, but if you're having constant recurring back problems when deadlifting then there might be a deeper issue that the peptides will not fix. If there is any degenerative damage to the disk then your deadlifting could be chiselling away at it until it it's really screwed. GHRH/GHRP peptides speed up healing. It doesn't do any extra magic that your body can't do naturally with time off. The peptides also won't add any poundage to your max deadlift.

How did you hurt your back and what vertabra were affected. Was the disk badly herniated?

225mcg/day per peptide is fine.

Sorry to break it to you Bud but your waisting your time the only peptide that MAY work a little for disc damage is HGH. Trust me my disc it fucked and I'm going under the knife. I've tried everything from IGF to fucking faiths healers

If your disc has a herniation and your lucky enough not to have Nerve damage yet(numbness, loss of strength or pins and needles) in a certain area or appendage rest may help but will never cure. Like me you'll have to give up excersizes that put strain on the ares so stop Dead lifting...! Or you'll be in shit. Go and read my thread there is another guy on there who had lower back issues and eventually went to a Neuro for an MRI.

If I have 1 word if advise for disc and back issues is go straight to a Neurologist and have an MRI to find out exactly what your issue is and the way forward. I guessed and tried Everything under the sun to heal it and just made things worse, I'm now completely pain free and even did squats yesterday with my Neuros permission but I'm still going for the surgery because I no next time it comes back and it will it'll be even worse

Go big or go home...

Thanks for all the good advice guys!

I am lucky that the pain is not too bad and the initial herniation was not too bad.
It normally only gets the pain if I have been working out hard and my body is tired that’s why I was hoping the peptides would help.
I am going to be a lot more careful though in the future I don’t want to have to go for surgery sometime in the future.
I might still try peptides for the recovery benefits.
Would you guys recommend the use of them from a cost/benefit point of view? I mean if I use them for 3 months and get better sleep and recovery times,
Is it worth the price?
Also how many days would a vial of a peptide last at 75mcg three times a day?
