Mk677 and insulin resistant ? was created by Lex
Hi

I want to add Mk into my next primo cycle.
Was thinking of running LP mk677 15mg post workout or before bed.

I've read up that it can cause insulin sensitivity and insulin resistance ?
Just want to find out has anyone experienced any disorder with their blood sugar levels on mk677 ?

Thanks

Doesnt matter when, unless u have shit skills at putting down the fork.

Yes it does, and yes it will :)

How to combat it?

Ive done recently a fuckton of research into peptides and GH and insulin.

Just buy a glucose monitor kit. Take your fasted levels and write em down.

A high blood sugar level may require a second test a few days later to confirm the reading. If both tests show elevated levels of blood glucose then you are starting to become insulin resistant.

7.8 to 11.0 mmol/L is considered prediabetes
11.1 mmol/L or higher indicates type 2 diabetes

SO how does one reset insulin sensitivity?

In my research of different ways to cope with type 2 diabetes. Ive found that berberine 500mg after a meal helped type 2 diabetes just as much as 500mg Glucophage.

www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2410097/

Glucophage does lower IGF1 WHICH IS ONE OF THE MOST ANABOLIC HORMONES WE HAVE.

Thats why i would recommend, berberine first, then glucophage, and if nothing helps. Well you have to see a doctor then.

Seemingly we are PED junkies and not diabetics, what protocols do when have to restore it?
Well no one knows the best one to be perfectly honest.

Suggested metformin/glucophage protocol is to start at 500mg/day taken with a high carb meal and to increase it to 2g-2.5g/day by the start of week 3 for a total of 4 weeks.

Berberine at such high doses does cause bowel problems. So most people go the glucophage root.

Hope this helped!

GH has "anti-insulin" effects.
Decreasing insulin sensitivity and increasing insulin resistance.
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5642081/

I wouldn't ignore this completely as some people have drastic increase when taking mk677.
I would hypothesize if it matters when you take it and with (or without) a massive carbohydrate load, I can't give an answer but it definitely is not a dumb question on OP's behalf.

And I mean, if you need to take glucophage (metformin), you are likely doing shit wrong.
Maybe it is a special chemical and will be the "longevity drug" people are claiming it to be.
I wouldn't take the risk and taking them as ancillaries to this extent is a bit ridiculous imo.

How is it that I have no idea what I'm talking about ?

I've asked a question and I wanted someone's advice that has used mk677.

Not research. I've done my research and every info I've read all have a general consensus on the elevated blood glucose levels that being said on the other spectrum of things I've read that people on low carb or a keto diet actually became more insulin sensitive.

My question was "has anyone experienced this" meaning I wanted someone's feedback that has used LP Mk677 and actually tell me what they experienced.

I've read articles that speculating that a GDA needs to be taken ect.

I just wanted to find out if someone's experienced any of this because I couldn't find it on the mk677 thread

My insulin was on 18 two years ago, just letting go a bit, now its under 5 and I am permanently on GH, so I guess it's very selective. I didn't notice glucose issues when using mk677, but I guess if you running a bit high already then it might push it up further, but quite simple if you not happy with what's happening its easy to just stop, I've not heard of people getting permanent issues with it. The reality is our bodies do not care about what is written on paper, it's a good guideline and that's about it.
