When does a BB make the move to using HGH? Only when normal AAS don't work for you anymore or does it just come down to personal choice?

have never tried it myself, have always had the worry of becoming diabetic... but then again, how true is that? is there a real threat of becoming diabetic?

The only real chance of knowing whether you will become diabetic is if it runs in your family and then you watch your diet etc to lower the risk. But if you abuse junk foods and eat tons of sugar chances are you may run a risk

On Rx I read an article where an anonymous chap was talking about gowing pro, that's when he started using growth.. He got to pro without it. But everyone is different and one chap may find he's growing slow with AAS and good diet and decide its time for growth. I'm not sure how essential it really is to compete, unless you going up against the modern day mass monsters.

Sorry if I offend you
Its just my point of view

If I may add something.

There is a common misconception that eating sweet foods and carbs (lots of it) is a risk factor in terms of diabetes. If you listen to what docs and experts say, however, this is not true at all. The most common risk factor is obesity. Eating sweet foods and carbs will never give you diabetes! Go to any endocrinologist and he/she will tell you exactly the same. Realise that ANY food in excess can probably make you fat and this will increase your risk.

My mother is a borderline diabetic. So believe me, I have done a lot of research on diabetes. And my research is ongoing. Knowledge is power.

I've used insulin in the past and I used it wisely and with great results. Considering that diabetes might run in the family, I made an educated choice about using insulin. I'm not sure about GH for future use, so I'm still researching it up the ass!!!

Interesting side note: I read an article about a Latvian strongman../ he said that those guys use GH and insulin by the bucketful. Joint recovery etc.

And finally: my training partner told me that Marius Dohne became a diabetic after using gh. Is this true? I know who he is, but don't follow SA bbuilding at all. So I wouldn't know.

peace
b

I disagree. Yes obesity plays an important role, as does genetics but eating sweets non-stop can cause you to lose insulin sensitivity and over time (years) insulin resistance may develop

Ok, be interested to hear why he thinks it was HGH. How do you know Marius?

Was he using insulin? If he was it's far more likely to be from this-I've never heard of anyone getting diabetes from IGF of HGH-suppose never say never, but I think it will be from something else, esp if he was using insulin.

I agree, its virtually impossible to get diabetes from GH.If he does have diabetes then maybe he was prone to it because of it being in his family history.Still cant blame GH though.

you need gh to become a pro
diabetes, if at all, most likely due to wrong insulin use
