PCT for woman Anavar only cycle?

Want to find out if theres any PCT to follow for my wife who just started Anavar @ 10mgs ED.

No PCT unless she has testicles

I was wondering about this and have a question. I am also preparing myself for the laughs and faces that are sure to follow

Logically if a female has raised levels of testosterone then her natural estrogen levels will also elevate to reach a balance, not so? If she then stops the unnatural testosterone and her natural estrogen levels remain high after the gear has cleared her body will she not experience the negative effects of high estrogen until her levels resume? I know there is no case for PCT but what about estrogen suppression?

If there is an obvious answer to this and its a really dumb question, one of my mates at the gym asked me to find out for him ok.

I was thinking along the same lines, but more over the fact of, even though the woman doesn't have testes (hopefully), there is still other glands in the body that produce testosterone, her ovaries and some other gland obviously not as much as a males testes but still. Now surely by taking a steroid such as anavar would halt this production?

Surely in the period between those glands and her ovaries resuming natural test production there would be loss in muscle?

Interesting...would be nice to get some input from some women users and their experience on cycle and post cycle. Esp the whole menstrual cycle thing

Any sex steroid derivative (aas) will inhibit LH and FSH in both men and women.

In men LH suppression shuts down testosterone production in the testes and FSH suppression shuts down spermatogenesis.

In women LH suppression shuts down estrogen/progesterone production in the ovaries and FSH suppression stops the ovaries producing eggs.

For women taking the contraceptive pill has the same suppressive effect on their natural sex hormone cycle and reproductive cycle as for example taking deca.

So assuming theres no PCT involved, everything should just pop back into place for the woman right?

So basically what I get from what you are saying is that even though a women is taking an AAS her natural test production will still continue, but her body will stop producing estrogen, probably due to the high levels of estrogen fom aromatisation of the test from the anavar? :blink:

No, her natural test production would also be inhibited and suppression would depend on the dose of steroids she is taking. Very similar to how it works in men. High levels of circulating androgens would inhibit any androgen production just as in men.

My wife took anavar and it had a profound effect on her. Her cycle stopped completely. She picked up weight but lost bf, she was not happy with additional weight though.
As far as i know elevated testosterone in women causes fat gain and muscle loss as well as mood issues. It will be good to hear experts opinion if there is a case for Adex use in women after they stop gear to control unnaturally high estrogen levels.

I'd suggest she join one of the bigger international bodybuilder forums that have a women's section and ask around there. I know a chick who I talk to regularly who has done a lot of aas and competing and I'm pretty sure she said something about not using AIs because of rebound. Could be wrong though.

My wife takes Anavar, Winny and Proviron (Female Stack) on a regular basis and she's still a girly girl with strength take intimidates some men in the gym. She only uses liver protection which is obviously unrelated to PCT + extra calcium and joint support to help prevent early onset of ostea p due to suppressed estrogen.

Its takes 2-4 months to get into normal period and so forth, depending on the length and dosage of the cycle.

Woman who generally are overweight, low mood and sex drive are generally diagnosed with low testosterone so this obviously has a profound effect in the female body even though at super low production rates.

Sorry in my last post I meant elevated estrogen, not testosterone.

Aqueel she was taking 10mg/day. She stopped though because she noticed a lot of changes and her primary goal was weight loss. It was a stupid thing to suggest to her for weigth loss and was before I found this site and actually learnt something about gear.

Could it be possible that anavar brings on flu like symptoms? My wife has been on it for just about a week now and she's feeling a bit fluey...either that or its just the usual seasonal flu
