Ok good post. I accept your point and agree with you completely about the bridge, it was a bad mistake and is one of the reasons I want to use test prop in a bridge to keep the test going as long as possible.

Thanks for the input, it all helps.

Always glad to help, and boet at 39 If you did a biweekly low dose hcg/ovidrel on cycle to prevent atrophy you wouldn't feel so crap during PCT. Might not be needed for the younger guys but you would recover faster.

Hey guys,

So it's been about 2 weeks since I stopped the letro and been on PCT 3. I must say that when the sides of the letro went away I felt great again and training is going very well. My cardio capacity has definitely increased since my cycle and strength seems to have been pretty well maintained so far.

The only issue that I have is that I have definitely lost some size. Quite a bit. Is that normal? I've probably lost 3-4 kg as well since I stopped my cycle 3 weeks ago

Need to start planning my next cycle asap, even though I've got at least a 3month wait from now :(

How much did you gain in total after the 3/4kg that you lost?

Probably 2kg. And my diet was great for the most part (Dj Diet) Still is good. Maybe it's because I have been carb cycling for the last 2 weeks

Take it easy on the cardio! That's a sure way to burn muscle post cycle when cortisol is already high. Not a good idea to be on a caloric deficit or when you are in PCT or just off PCT, as you are already in a catabolic state and eating less than your BMR will increase cortisol even more.

A study done on athletes in the US showed a 30% decrease in free testosterone and an increase in cortisol when they were put on a low carb diet. There's others studies linking low carbs and low test as well. They weren't carb cycling per se, but that could be a possibility if you are doing most low cal days with a carb up every few days.

I have found that post cycle its best for me to up my calories a bit and lay off any cardio for a while until my hpta has recovered. That makes it easier to hold onto muscle gains.

Thanks for the info bro. Cardio/HIIT is a pretty big part of what I do (CrossFit) zo that could also be a reason. I'll back off from those workouts and work a bit more on my heavy lifts and olympic lifts for a while.
