ANAVAR PCT?? Is it needed?

Hi Guys..im running a ANAVAR cycle at 40mg a day along side Clen 80mcg a day for a duration of 6 weeks,the clen will obviously cycled 2 weeks on 2 weeks off etc. So far the results are good.strength gains are through the roof and i'm physically harder and leaner. I have been running HCG (PREGNYl) at 500iu's 3 times a week to prevent shutdown of libido and test production.

one thing I am confused about is PCT really necessary for this cycle? Alot of guys say no and the rest say it really is needed as it WILL shut down your own test production at 40mg and above.So i decided to throw in the HCg just to be safe, is this a good idea?

What PCT would you recommend for this?

Perhaps some Clomid and Nolva??

Short var only cycles can be recovered from without PCT usually, but a few weeks of clomiphene or tamoxifen is not a bad idea. Particularly since you are using 1500iu hCG a week (which may cause a different kind of shut down on its own), I would be keen that you add in at least one of these SERMs for 2-3 weeks immediately following simultaneous cessation of oxandrolone and hCG

Thanks for your insight Inja..what exactly do you mean the HCG could cause a different type of shutdown on its own? So do you recommend i stop the HCG and just take NOLVA/CLOMID as my PCT? Or can i finish off the HCG and then use one or both of the SERMs (Clomid & Nolva)?

Hcg can desensitize your gonads(Balls) to LH (Lutinizing Hormone)and can basically screw you big time. That dose might be way to high for a var run alone. Maybe run a low dose of 100ui eod.

Ok thanks Magusta i only started the HCG 2 weeks ago, i have roughly injected 2500ius all in all..do you think my gonads will be OK? If you take a look under Anavar on the right of the home screen they suggest you use Clomid/Nolva for PCT and they do desire using HCG as well for anavar? Do you rate I just give up the HCG?

Stop the hCG now, and run the clomid/nolva as a PCT. Since hCG will go off in the fridge, use the rest of your hCG in the last two weeks of your var cycle, then switch strait over to your SERM for 3 weeks.

Well always helps to know the history of the question. For this specific instance I would say run out the hCG till finished purely so you don't waste it, and then start a SERM for three weeks immediately after stopping the var. You should have two weeks after the hCG at least of SERM only.
Alternatively you can freeze the hCG (save it for a next cycle) and start with 3 weeks of SERM immediately after you stop the var.

I have 15 tabs of Clomid 50mg as well as Kessar 20mg..so i will start both of these SERMs a day after by last Anavar tab. I still have 2500iu's of HCG (Pregnyl) left over. So you suggest I use it all up? Won't it desensitise my Gonads(Balls) to LH as mentoined earlier in this discussion? Im a lil confused now..haha Thanks for all the input.really appreciate it

ok here is a question , would you get better gains from anavar and proviron only as aposed to using it in a bridge after a test cycle ? I am also thinking of a pre summer anavar and proviron cycle.
I have just finished a test cycle so have about a 5 month waiting period.
I will do a full test cycle towards the end of the following year ...before anyone jumps down my throught about oral only,

Its just a question of whether you use it cause you have it. Or freeze it for a future cycle, but you will lose some of it (5-10% probably) doing this.
The SERMs will bring you back fine.

Day 1-7; 100mg Clomid
Day 8-37; 20mg Kessar

Do you think that is OK?

Anavar is known to crash your libido quitev severely, i have experienced this before..but now since using the HCg it is right up there, will the SERMs also help to get the test levels back to normal now that i have stopped the HCG?

That's the point of SERMs.
hCG mimics LH in the Test producing cascade,
SERMs prevent negative feedback by antagonising the ER.

I am taking my last Anavar tab today at 9:00 am..so tomorrow late afternoon i will start my PCT.

How do you suggest I take the Clomid? 50mg twice daily in split doses,say 50mg in the morning and the other 50mg at night or take 100mg straight one shot?

split doses always better, but benefit is small
