Pregnyl, ovidrel talk confusing

I'm trying to follow the threads on pregnyl & ovidrel since i have never used them before and i must say all this talk about splitting dosages and IUs is really confusing me. I can't get a handle on it. Maybe someone can find the patience to explain to me from like scratch how the ovidrel comes packaged and why it needs this "splitting" and the dosage calculations.

when it comes to pregnyl u get 2 differnt types,u get the 1500iu vials,and u get the 5000iu vials,u get a box containing 6 vials in each box,the one vial has got a freeze dried powder and the other vial has got sterile water, now for this example i am going to use the 1500iu vials. when u take 1 ml of water and mix it into the powder(it will disolve instantly) that means that u have 1500ius of pregnyl. now u can split that up using an 3 insulin syringes, now u will draw up 33iu's and that will be equal to 500iu's of pregnyl (1ml water = 100iu's /3 = 33.3iu's. 1500iu's per ml /3 = 500iu's per .33mls) which u will jab 3 times a week. 500iu's on monday, wednesday and friday. if you use the 5000iu vials of pregnyl per 10iu's of mixed solution will be 500iu's. and this is taken on the same protocol. you can take pregnyl at 500ius twice a week during your cycle to help prevent major negative feed back on the testicles making your recovery easier, now if you are running a maintaince dosage of 500ius twice a week this is not considered your PCT. you will still need to run the 1500iu's per week (split into 3) for 3 weeks post your last shot. if you are running test prop u can start your pct 2-3days after your last shot,if you are running equi or test en its usually 12days after your last show that you start running your pregnyl. does this help with your dilemma?

I dont mean to sound stupid but i still cant get it right. Maybe once i see the pregnyl i will get a better idea. If im getting the 5000iu, how many mls water do i mix into it and the once that is
done how many mls do i take on each day.( 1500iu divide by 3). So how many mls is 500iu ?
I also read somewhere that i can inject intramuscular into the glute, is that ok?

I havent seen the 15000 IU pregnyl (5000 IU x 3) for a while now but i am guessing it comes with 1 ml of water solution just like the 1500. So its pretty simple 1 ml of water gives you 5000 IU of pregnyl so from there its simple mats:

1 ml - 5000 IU
x ml - 500 IU

so x = (1 x 500) / 5000 = 0.1 ml

So 0.1 of a ml will be 500 IU and subqutenious shots are fine for such small dosages that means ralf that you pinch your fat around the abdominal area and inject with an insulin syringe.

Now the 4500 IU pregnyl comes as three 1500 IU vials. One vial is 1500 IU of powder strength. You mix with 1 ml of water solution. Now that 1 ml of water has a strength of 1500 IU of pregnyl. Now maths:

1 ml - 1500 IU
x ml - 500 IU

so x = (1 x 500) / 1500 = 0.33 ml

So you take an insulin syringe and draw 0.33 ml of that solution and voila you have yourself 500 IU of pregnyl ready to go. Make sure your pregnyl is refrigirated all the time especially when its mixed.

i got my 10ml sabax water and 5000iu pregnyl. How much of the water do i use? 2ml? And the rest? If I want to shoot 500iu 3x a week? I know this has been covered but can somebody please draw me a picture, i don't want to stuff this up. Thanx

You use 2ml to get the 5000iU, chuck the rest or drink it.
You will have 2ml mix that equals 5000iU, so 1ml equals 2500iU. That's 100 units on a 1ml slin pin.
K, so if 100 units equals 2500iU and you want 500iU then .... K, I'll do the math.
On a 1ml slin pin 500iU will equal 20 units, 20iU on the slin pin.

How to work it:
100 units = 2500iU
I want 500iU

2500/500 = 5

100 units/5 (cause I only want 1 5th) = 20 units

Nice thing about the LP HCG is that it is a multi dose vial, like Ovidrel and you don't have to load your slin pins and keep them.

Nope and 4 weeks.
Just easier to store and use.
