Reasons for breaks between Cycles was created by ninjajuice
This is probably going to flamed as a very stupid question but I'm willing to take some abuse in order to learn something.

Why do we need to take long breaks between cycles? Is it to give our bodies time to produce testosterone naturally again or has it got to do with giving your liver time to recover? Or both?

What are the possible dangers/harms that one could cause to themselves by doing their next cycle too quickly again?

I am only half way through my PCT after my first cycle and I would like to start planning my next cycle asap. Now I will wait the required period of time before starting my next cycle, I would just like to know why I am doing so.

Ideally I'd like to start smashing a Primo test equi cycle straight after my PCT but I wont. (I will wait 2-3 months post PCT before I start, which sucks!)

Sounds to me like you know why you have to take a break. you put your body under stress during cycle and giving it some RnR is wise. especially if youre in this for the long haul...

Look I'm no science guy. Guys best suited for answering this would be Inja and Muscleaddict. But here is my reasoning.

Gear puts a lot of stress on your body in many ways. It affects bloodpressure, cholesterol and it essentially screws ur hormones up as steroids themselves are hormones as we know. Using gear for prolonged periods without giving your body time to recover will essentially stuff your reproductive system up. That in turn would lead to low natural testosterone levels, depression, erectile dysfunction etc etc.

I also believe in receptors downgrading or being "saturated" by whatever gear u taking and like most things your body adapts and becomes tolerant to that specific substance. So in other words you will need more and more of that substance to get the same desired results and that leads to all sorts of other sides. The receptor issue is however disputed.

That's my understanding and reasoning. But like I said, science boffins like inja and muscleaddict will know more

the biggest thing for the break is also your tendons, your muscles grow very strong very quickly but your tendons don't strengthen as fast as your muscles do. that's why I find allot of guys who increase their lifts very quickly also get injured very quickly... your body takes strain whilst on a cycle, so you need to give it time to adjust to the increased muscle mass that you have taken on.
