Feeling flat on PCT? was created by mack
I’m about 3 weeks into PCT2 - finished the Clomid and Hcg, now on Nolvadex. I’m feeling pretty flat, it seems that training hard is taking more mental effort than usual. My wife is also complaining that I’m irritable. Am I correct that this is caused by low estrogen, due to the Nolvadex? And it will continue while I’m on Nolvadex? I read MA's post that high prolactin can also cause this. Is there anything I can take which would not interfere with PCT? Any advice would be appreciated

Your problem is not your low estrogen. You are feeling down because of your lower testosterone levels. Think about when you go on the most awesome holiday of your life for 3 months, then you have to come back to reality and work. It´s gonna suck! But you will get used to it again and life will get back to normal. Same thing here.

This or look at a product called 5HTP

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

Recovery is harder for us older guys, i have been there mack. Stay focused and motivated. I know the hardest part is convincing your wife you HAVE to do pct as they experience you as a different person on cycle.

On cycle you are the shit
Off cycle you are someone else and full of shit

They hate PCT times and you will have to explain to her the importance of this. You can show her this message as you are not the only older guy having these issues.

The support and understanding from their side is important and they should know this.

Mack it's highly unlikely that it is from prolactin unless you used nandrolone or tren. PCT is crappy. It's one of those things. Just try to keep a positive mindset despite the hormones, because if you think in your mind that you can't then your body will follow.
