Real or fake HCG

Hi guys,

I just started my hcg yesterday with 500iu. I am 5 weeks into my cycle now and will be running it twice a week. In the last week I have noticed a bit of shrinkage in my testi's and decided to start my hcg. I have a few concerns and hope you guys can help me out.


Is it normal for there to be a red mark where I pinned?

Is it true I can use a pregnancy test to check if the hcg is still good or real?

How long roughly do u start noticing the return in size to ur testi's?

I am currently using epifasi hcg, has any1 had any experience with this brand before?

250iu twice a week and it will take awhile ....are u using insuline syringe ?

I don't think you have to worry about fake HCG, never heard of fake HCG before. You do get HCG exposed to high temperatures for extended periods and that will make it less effective though, but the only way to know that is to use it and do a pregnancy test the next morning.

on your epifasi packaging does it state intramuscular ? and did you pin subq or intram ?

Yea Oupa it says intra on the packaging but I did subq. I thought even the intra hcg can still be done subq?

Ok I just used a spare pregnancy my girlfriend had and I squirted 20iu's onto the stick and it says negative. Sh*t!

Do u think it's lost its potency or do u think I didn't use enough or something? I didn't want to waste a shot but I didn't think it was still in my urine seeing that I took it on Monday

No man, you inject yourself with 1000iu before bed time and the next morning when you go for your first wee you take the test. I have never tried it myself, but according to others it should show positive.

Sorry I mean I used 0.2ml / 500iu on the test but I will tomorrow night take 1000iu intra in my tricep and then on Friday morning give the pee test ago

apparently But it would be a false positive and not actually pregnant I hope ? :S
