Why bother with PCT 2 ?

Ok so,
Pct 2 is recommended for anything with test or harsher.
It is also recommended that you have an AI on hand with test or harsher.
Pct 3 is the same as pct 2 with an inclusion of an AI (aromasin) & the substitution of hcg for Ovidrel.

If Ovidrel is superior to hcg, and you need to have an AI anyway, then why not just do PCT 3???

Because PCT 3 is expensive and finding Ovidrel is not always possible. PCT 2 is by far the most popular, so that is why we bother with it.

That clears it up for me. I thought maybe it would be overkill in some cycles which could perhaps do more damage, I guess not though.

One more thing, if you had Gyno symptoms and ran an AI mid cycle, would you need to run an AI again for Pct.

Depends on the Gyno ...u can start with 3 drops of letro EOD at the begining of the cycle and take it from there ..shit happens go to 3 ED then 5 if it doesnt subside 10 to 20 drops ED ..stop before PCT

Firstly Ovidrel and HCG is pretty much the same thing, Ovidrel is just the synthetic version of HCG. Studies comparing HCG and Ovidrel found no concernable difference w.r.t the effect on the HPTA-axis. Then Ovidrel stings much less than HCG when injecting but is also twice as expensive and hard to find at times like Admin is saying. You can use either HCG or Ovidrel for PCT 2/3. Apologies for the articles section saying otherwise.

Then in terms of the AI, Arimidex is a type 2 AI which means that the effects stop working when you cease the dosage. Aromasin is a type 1 AI, which means it's effects are permanent (irreversible). The reason for adding the Aromasin to PCT 3 is to prevent estrogen rebound after your PCT, something more likely the more suppressive the AAS was.

So if you had no Gyno symptoms then would it be stupid to run an AI just to be safe?

Pyro- my understanding regarding the type 1 AI is things go back to normal after new enzyme synthesis. "The aromatase enzyme’s activity can only be restored by new enzyme synthesis"

That information is incorrect.

So then ovidrel or ovitrelle is the way to go then. .? Provided you can get it.
During your cycle, is letrozole the best to use or is aromasin better, and are the 'permanent effects' of aromasin bad?
