Should I be worried about post PCT shutdown?

Hey Guys,

I finished my PCT no2 for my Dianabol, Testen, Deca & Winstrol cycle (as per the sample cycles) on the 16th of November. Truth be told, I'm a little freaked out. It's the first time that I have experienced a 'shutdown', which as far as I can tell is common after a long deca cycle.

My balls haven't grown back to full size yet, although during PCT I got the occasional pain from them to let me know that they are doing something. My sex drive is definitely not what it's suppose to be.

I was thinking of getting a over the counter test booster to go along with my ZMA, and I also scratched around in my stash to see what else I have on hand. I got 30x Nolvadex and 30x Aromasin. Would taking these now as a 'PCT' for my PCT?

Forgive the stupidity of my question and my considerations, I am a little anxious about this, and perhaps all I need is a dose of reassurance that it will take some time and I need to calm down.

Pct3 is the the protocol u should run when running tren or deca. Also remember the pcts on the website are the bare minimum u need to run. Sometimes when using deca or tren u will need to run pct for 60-90 days in order to recover properly. Only way to know where u are sitting is by having a blood test done. If your levels are low u need to re run the pct.

Thanks DJ. Brilliant advise as always. Unfortunately I followed ill advise from somebody else who said that PCT2 would be sufficient.

I will phone pathcare tomorrow to check what their operating hours are. Once I have the results, I will post back. I have a feeling that I would need to run another PCT.

Doing bloodwork directly after finishing PCT will give you unreliable results. You need to wait 5-6 weeks after PCT before blood tests to be sure of where you stand. Clomid and Nolvadex can keep your LH and testosterone elevated for more than a month after you stop taking them because they stay active in your body for ages (very long half lives). Your testosterone levels WILL take a dip once the SERMs are out your system before things normalise.

Thanks Muscleaddict. It's been exactly 5 weeks today since I stopped my PCT, so I'll make an appointment as soon as I can get one. I hope their open this time of the year!

i am not saying that you cannot recover from deca with pct,its just better to use the docs protocol when it comes to those substances.

@mike123, thanks for the reassurance.

@DJ, I agree with you, I like to know whats going on in my body and making smart choices from thereon in. Although this incident of using PCT2 was down right stupid advise, and I should have known better and done my own homework.

I went for the tests this morning, and should receive the results in 24 to 48 hours. As soon as I have them in my hands, I will post them up.

Thanks again for the replies and feedback, just being able to talk to somebody about all of this puts my mind at ease.

Happy new year everybody!

I have thought about my test results. As far as my research can tell me, I have to redo my PCT. I have 30x Nolvadex and 30x Aromasin on hand but no Clomid or Ovidrel. To make things a bit more complicated, the guy that I buy from doesn't have Ovidrel at all, and only opens for business again on the 13th which leaves me without Clomid or alternatives for 13 days!

Should I start taking Nolvadex and Aromasin until then? I'm really stressing about this.

You are going to need HCG or Ovidrel to get your boys going. Nolvadex and Aromasin will only really deal with the estrogen

I'm trying to get a hold of some now through a guy that I haven't used before. He's not proving to be the most reliable because he isn't getting back to me. I pray he pulls through, but it seems like I'm running out of options fast.

Ok, he's not pulling through at all. I'm open to any and all suggestions at this stage.
