Hi guys

I've been on here a while now. Mainly reading and observing - trying to immerse myself in this wonderful world of yours and gain some insight and knowledge. I have a question about something I was hoping you would be able to help with, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post it under but it's what made most sense.

First some context. I'm 22, 182cm, 78kg, b.f. ~10%. I only started gymming last year August and have put on 6kg in the time since then. It's been an interesting journey from not knowing where to even begin and being super self-conscious in the gym to where I am now. I am not on any supplements. Nothing at all. I go to the gym 5/6 times a week, train hard and try to eat well.

I first noticed a lump starting to form behind my left nipple roughly 6 weeks ago. I have nipple piercings so I assumed it maybe had something to do with the piercing being angry because at the time I had hooked it quite badly in the shower and it was a bit tender and swollen so I never really gave it much thought.

Now, however, I'm starting to worry. The piercing are 100% healed. There is no discharge. No pain. No infection. They are clean and perfectly normal. The bump, however, hasn't gone away.

In the past week I have noticed it has grow quite aggressively.

It is now the size of 3 old R5 coins on top of each other, disc-like and centred evenly around the nipple. The nipple appears puffy and sticks out when compared to the other one. The mass is quite hard and painful if I press on it. If I gently squeeze the nipple a clear fluid comes out.

I had assumed until now that it had something to do with the piercing but this lump is far beneath where the piercing even goes and the fact that my nipple is discharging this fluid now is quite disconcerting.

I have been very busy with varsity the past while and didn't really take any notice until it became outwardly visible.

I chatted to a friend tonight about it and he is of the opinion that it is most likely gyno. I had not considered this at all until today as I'm in pretty decent shape, don't consume any food products I'm aware of that would raise oestrogen levels, sex drive is same as always and don't even use any supplements let alone juice so it was literally at the back of my mind.

I have a little bit of a transport issue as far as trying to get to a doctor goes this week, but I am going to do my best to try and see one ASAP (read: tomorrow) because this is freaking me out now.

Have any of you heard of this before? Advise? Things I should be considering or asking the doctor when I see him?

Seven weeks ago I started with a much more aggressive gym and eating regime once I got back to Pretoria (I am a student and can only afford to go to the student gym while I'm at varsity so December had been a bit of a break) - big compound lifts, 6 meals a day, I developed a spreadsheet to count my daily macros, etc. I don't think this would have anything to do with it though but maybe one of you will know?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All the sort of stuff I've been able to find about this has been either about people dealing with it post-cycle or overweight dudes disgruntled by their 'moobs'. I'm seriously hoping this doesn't get to that point. Maybe it is something else?

I'm 300% sure it has nothing to do with the piercing as it's quite solidly in the breast tissue and the piercing is a superficial skin thing.

Please guys... what can I do?

Thanks man.

I managed to get to the doctor but he wasn't helpful at all. He basically said that it's 'normal' at my age and that lots of guys get it. He didn't prescribe anything because he said it should go away on its own.

I told him how sceptical I am of what he was saying and that I didn't want to have to worry about a hormone imbalance and this becoming a permanent thing since 6 weeks is a long time already.

He suggested that I should cut out gym, stop eating dairy products and take zinc and vitamin B6 to try and get it to go away.

I told him I give myself a B complex injection once a month and take zinc supplements daily so his suggestion isn't really something 'new' that could change the situation. He was very adamant that I should leave gym for a couple of weeks and see what effect that has but that seems very counter-intuitive because if it is the gym for whatever reason, as soon as I go back it would come back again.

So basically I think this dude doesn't actually know what's cracking.

I will wait to see what the situation is by the end of the week and then go and see someone else about it.

From what I've read up on this I'm pretty sure it is gyno though. What a nightmare... I suppose if I ever decide to juice at least I know there's one thing I can count on growing. :pinch:

Do you think it would be a good idea for me to get my hands on some letrozole and aromsin if the second doctor isn't any help?

I would almost think it's getting harder. It was definitely a lot more sore today than it was yesterday. Already starting to feel quite self-conscious about it.

Pablo, remember if it is gyno it's only going to get worse the more you play with it. Stop pulling and squeezing your tit.

I'm not completely convinced that it's gyno, but a low dose of letrozole should improve it allot if it is gyno.

While on this subject I met a new dude this weekend, one of the wife's rep friends boyfriend. Now he played with juice and year ago and no longer does because he is scared of it.

He develop a small hard nodule under his one nip, obviously gyno but its not growing and its been there for a year.

Will Letro/arimidex/nolva/aromasin help him now or is it to late?

Its because its Fibrous now?
I wish guys would not use juice if they don't know what they are doing. If he was on cycle I could have helped but 1 year later, clueless...

Yep, unfortunately that gyno is there to stay. If he takes letro it will probably get smaller for a while but when he's off the letro and his normal estrogen levels return it will get bigger again.
