Greetings,
I would like some input on my current situation.
Recently I have been diagnosed with haemochromatosis which is a dangerous build-up of iron in the body. One of the side effects is damage to the hormone production system and more often than not this does not recover once iron levels are brought under control and maintained.

I for one refuse to accept this without a fight especially as there are some factors in my favour - Age:34, Test production is not totaly dead: Total 9.2nmol/Free 255pmol.

The doc has me on 125-150mg test/wk which i am in two minds about to be honest but think it will help me feel somewhat better in the mean while plus it is interesting to see how my body reacts to it.On the flip side it will shut me down completely.

So as soon as I have the iron levels under control I am thinking of running a PCT 3 with HCG to see if I am able to kickstart my natural test production to full wack again. This will be in about 3-4 mnths time.

What are your guys thoughts on this?

Thx

I'd deal with with an alternative type of treatment, I do know of someone who is brilliant in alternative medicine and his abilities to work with typical western medicine approach you are on. He is currently doing allot of consultation with Harvard and he has written a few books too. If this is an option you would like to pursue (only if you believe in alternative options to Western medicine and not waste my time) you may contact the Administrator of the site and I'll provide him with the persons name and contact number. At this present moment I am not aware of where he is located as he moves around, he sometimes moves to more peaceful environments when he is writing his books, but a phone call could steer you on the right track. I won't even list the success to things that doctors have said are with you for life, he is a brilliant man.

Have you been tested for thalassemia? Secondary haemochromatosis is often related.
