Bloodworx to be done?

I completed my 1st cycle ( test e and winny), hcg in cycle, and pct 1 a few months ago, and I need to do bloods, and after my research, the following needs to be tested. I had some gyno symptoms, so I know im kak sensitive to this biatch, as i had to keep on using adex till recently, as i had a rebound after my pct. The gyno symptoms are much better, only with a sensitive nip every now and then. Please feel free to comment - much appreciated!

Progesterone
Vitamin D, thyroid function (TSH & Total T4)

Also - i assume i dont need a dr. to refer me to a lab, i can just go with this list and they will assist me? What does these tests cost +-?

I will also start a new thread on my 2nd cycle i am planning in a few months

Complete Blood Count (CBC)
Electroyltes/Liver function test (E/LFT)
Total Cholesterol (including HDL and LDL)
Prostate (PSA)
Cortisol

Does anybody know how much these tests might cost? And can i just pitch up at the pathologist or do i need a referral from a dr?

I'd add the tests Eidolon suggested, although if you're in your 20's or early 30's PSA check is not necessary. Prolactin and progesterone I wouldn't test if I only used testosterone and winny. The cost adds up. You're looking at around R2500. Just leaving out those 3 tests will save you probably R600.

Are you just doing a post cycle test or do you want an annual big check-up?

Hey Pyro - just wanted to do a post cycle check..

So... I got my results back, and tested everything you guys suggested! It was so funny when the old suster tannie asked me "Why are you testing all these girly hormones, are you on steroids"

In short - everything seems to be fine, except for my test are very low, and she said my liver is a big concern :dry: Will this sort itself out,, or should I see a Dr?

Your comments would be appreciated! I followed everything by the book regarding liver supps as well. I completed my PCT around end Jan 2016, and currently planning for my next cycle in a few months.

Ouch. How long ago did you finish PCT? What supplements have you used since then?

My PCT ended around 30 Jan. Then around end Feb i jumped back on adex as i was having gyno symptoms, on the advice i got off this forum. I stopped adex about 3 weeks ago, as i had to taper down slowly. My supplements is my normal vit c, magnesium, and zinc that i use daily. I also used milk thistle till about end March

Any suggestions on what i should do? I was so looking forward to my next cycle

The Adex should have been helping the recovery too. What's your age ?

After the bloods i actually thought my estrogen and prolactin levels would be screwed, but they are within range!

What is your LH at?

All of that for a post cycle test is just unnecessary. You don't need more than free test, LH, cholesterol and prolactin (if applicable)

@ muscleaddict - my LH is 5.7, which is in range of the suggested 1.7 - 8.6

Any suggestions what i should do, and should the low test and high liver enzymes concern me at this stage?

You should not cycle until your T recovers, otherwise you put yourself at high risk for long term problems. Your LH is good so that means the problem is not in the pituitary/hypothalamus, but your testes are not responding to the signal to make more testosterone. Some people do take longer to recover so no need to go into panic mode.

What dose and frequency did you use the HCG at? Any shrinkage down there?

I used HCG in cycle from week 4 to about 16 @ 500iu per week. After pct (pct 1 from this forum) my balls were almost 90% back to size. But now lately its shrinked again in the last 3 weeks. I had gyno symptoms coming back after pct, so i was on adex and tapered off till 3 weeks ago. Maybe the adex has something to do with that, or maybe the hcg during cycle ?

And then the liver enzymes.. Should i panic about that? I was so hoping to be ready for my next cycle!!

Bud are you taking anything to help boost your test recovery? Test boosters help a great deal bru! I'd personally be just a little anxious with those results. :huh:

The Testoblast and Anabolic Testo RX also has Eurycoma Longifolia (Tongkat Ali) in the ingredients. but i wanted the raw powder, cause it's way cheaper. and now i can control the dose I want to take. it is still really expensive, but if you can get your hands on this stuff - its AMAZING!

The dosage on their packaging is incorrect. you only need 250mg 2-3 times / day..

Bud I hate to tell you this, but I have done extensive research on Tribulis and turns out it is one test booster that actually does fok all! I know and understand that it is widely know.. but all the research done on it does not give any actually proof that it actually does what it claims.. Most studies on it actually sate there was zero effect between the placebo and the actual Tribulis soooo! I personally wouldn't waste any cash on that herb. lol! just my opinion.

I have no expertise in this field, i'm sorry my bud! i cant comment.

I take Milk Thistle for a full month before my cycles commences and then I drop the milk Thistle and replace it with essential for the entire period of my cycle. never had any issues.

Did you buy it or home made tribulis terrestis? 2 teaspoons twice a day for 20 days worked for me, after 20 days tribulis is useless. Natural test boosters work only if you have a stack like that yes Ive been through that, lucky bugger savage. Try eating tuna out of the tin twice a day to aid even more.

None of that stuff except possibly the DAA will help. There is nothing wrong with his HP part of the HPTA since his LH is 5.7. Tribulus boosts LH. It doesn't directly stimulate the testes.

For your liver just take some essentiale. It will be fine. It can take a few months to normalise.
