These are my results. It seems my test is on the very low side. I am 27 years old, 85kgs and between 15-18% body fat. I did these tests because I have been feeling rather lethargic and at times, emotional. There are various circumstances which obviously affect my mood at the moment but I just do not feel like myself at times.
Please can anyone advice on my free and total test at my age and also the LH and FSH. I do have to add that I did these tests after a weekend away with colleagues and not much sleep and some alcohol involved.
EDIT: Another reason I did these tests is that I have always been very lean and for the past couplee of months I have been struggling to lose bodyfat regardless of cardio/strength training and modified diet. I am not new to the game
Your E2 levels glare out for me - LOW!.
Is the lower detection limit equal to 61 for this (Roche) technique...For example, will 30 something be reported as <61?
I would think anything below 61 is automatically quantified as low and no count is given. Thus anything above 61 will be given a count and displayed. Anything below 61 is thus too low to be measured via this method? This is the first time i have done bloods. What do you think MDMA?
I dont really know what to make from this. My doctor was purely a means to draw blood. The best he could do thereafter was read me the results telephonically without any real medical evaluation or interpretation thereof.
That E2 of 61 makes sense but ideally should be a bit higher. If you aren't on steroids and your total T is low, then E2 is normally low as well. Estrogen in males is predominantly produced from aromatisation of testosterone and on average the more T you produce, the more E2 you produce.
For your age your T levels should be 40%+ higher than where they are.
