Hi All,

I was on a test cyp 500mg p/w for 12 weeks. kept it really simple as was my first cycle. I didn't use HCG during cycle to keep the nads online. Only found out later that HCG will beneficial on cycle.

I was planning to follow PCT protocol 1 on this site (clomid and nolva)
I noticed PCT protocol 2, adds HCG with your nolva, I thought HCG is a big NO-NO during
PCT as it could be suppressive and counterproductive. Forgive me if I was misinformed.
I do have a 5000ui vial of HCG available.

Please help me with these questions,
1. Is it ok then to use HCG during PCT if you didnt use HCG on cycle?
2. Should I do PCT 2(clomid/nolva with HCG) or stick with PCT 1(clomid/nolva)?
3. Im have depression, take meds for it, I think im in for a rough time come PCT, any hints and tips you have to offer during PCT would be helpful. Anything I can take during PCT for a smoother ride.

My gameplan for PCT is
1. keep protein intake high at least 2g+ per kg a day
2. Add 10g BCAA, 10g Creatine a day
3. Switchover to a 5x5 type of workout, strength oriented, figured that if you lift heavy your body will signal to your body to keep the muscle, cause it needs it.

anyone else want to add anything im missing? it will really help please.

There are some options, but:

Stats?
How far are you on cycle, taken your last cyp shot?

HCG is f*cken important for me but not in a pct so we can find a way around this.
What are you on for depression, you should have expected this coming off steroids, from demi-god to a normal man with lower then usual testosterone/ next to none.
I don't get depression on PCT I just become a bitch, literally. Clomid being the worst.

Best way to use HCG in PCT if you did not use it on cycle is with an AI like in PCT3 in the articles section.

It is on you. It always has been...

HCG shouldn't be used in PCT. Think one of the mods mentioned the articles need to be updated to reflect that.

92kg/1.78cm

Im done with my 12w cycle, 37 days since my last pin, started clomid yesterday as per PCT1.
But now PCT2 and PCT3 has got me puzzled, cause they both use HCG, (I do have HCG in the fridge)

Its day 2 of clomid usage, haven't changed me so far. early days.

Im on wellbutrin and seroquel, both dopamine related meds. I know, I'm mentally prepared for a rough time ahead during PCT, thats why I'm trying to get all the info and tips from people who've been through this before. Worried about keeping gains, high cortisol, being catabolic, started using Cissus Q, since I read that it might block some cortisol. Anyone else using it for this specific reason?

Thanks for the reply,

Ok so PCT2 is ill-advised then. Glad I got this cleared up, almost went this route. Thanks gents!

I have HCG but I don't have aromasin, so I won't be able to do PCT3.
I only have some Arimadex left,so I guess I'll stick to PCT1 and hope for the best.

Any gold nuggets of info on PCT always welcome.
What is your no1 tip for someone entering PCT?

Not so serious, just a general low mood. No suicidal tendencies. Just a bit afraid of what PCT might do to someone with depression if anything? Hope its manageable considering.

I was also in the same boat. A doc wanted to put me on anti D. I bought it but googled it before taking it. Cause the sides seemed hectic and I didn't consider myself to have hectic depression. So I didn't take it.

Spoke to my usual GP. Did bloods and answered some questions. He told me about a mood stabilizer tablet. Serdep 50mg. First two weeks was hectic. But once it settled, I haven't looked back. Even found the confidence to cycle again. After extensive research with serdep and roids.

I'm in the middle of pct 3. After a deca test n dbol cycle.
Mood changes were very little to none.

Some anti D s are very strong and not advised to use with alcohol or roids. You should google your anti D and find out the reactions with roids.

All anti depressants are strong and should not be used with alcohol. I have yet to come across a 'mild' anti depressant. A simple way of putting this, anything you put in your body whether it be bicarbonate to help counter acid in your body, use it to long and your body will start to make more acid to try counter it. Our body is a extremely delicate piece of machinery, be careful what you put in it because it may just result in more things to counter it's sides or it may result in a life time requirement to be on medication. I was on 14 different meds for years and years for this issue and this depression and this anxiety and this for sleep and another to go during the day and and and, all I'm on now is my blood pressure pills, it was the roughest ride of my life coming off all that shit, and it wasn't just 1 pill per med, I was pushing the absolute max level of each of those meds. It started with 1 pill and it grew over time to help the infinite loop you find yourself in when you take prescription medication. However in the same breath, do not stop medication without your doctor's guidance, but please do not take medication during PCT because your hormone levels are off balance and you feeling a bit low.

Great post pump. +1 for sharing your xp with the forum. That is exactly what happens when you abuse other chemicals like steroids for one, not to mention the other shit the youth takes to get high, and and and and and

Back to what i wanted to say.

Nolvadex and bupropion has issues when used together.
