Body Fat % and Natural Testosterone Levels?

Hi People.

This is a question for the guys experienced with this type of stuff.

My brother is 5 years older than me so 37 he weighs 85kg and is 1.82m. He as been on TRT for 2 years now but he says he wants to give his body a break. So he got this idea of getting his body fat % down to 11% or 12% and then do a extensive PCT and do bloods about 12 weeks after to see where he is at. His body fat is 15% now.

Would this be worth a shot or should I tell him it is a waste and just carry on with his TRT?

Why did he start TRT in the first place? Done correctly there is absolutely no need to 'take a break' from TRT, unless he plans to conceive.

If he had very low T before, he is going to go through months of feeling like utter kak and no matter what PCT and drugs he tries there's a very good chance he won't get his T levels to what they need to be to feel normal.

Best to let a specialist handle this with him. Hope it works out for him.

Nope he and his wife have twins a boy and a girl they are 3 now. So he ran into this problem shortly after the got pregnant. I will chat to him again this weekend and ask if he knows what caused it. But I will also tell him if he feels fine and like you said then there is no reason to come off TRT.

I do remeber him being very overweight and depressed and then there was a period of him and a specialist trying to kick start his HPTA wit Clomid and HCG it did not work and then she put him on the TRT.

Stick with the TRT. I assume he's not feeling great and thinks it is his hormones. Maybe he needs to tweak his TRT regimen, but yea get some bloods done first.

So I wanted another kid now so decided to have a break, gave my body 3 months of a hardcore PCT protocol and tested bloods (2 weeks after PCT when my levels should be highly elevated) my bloods returned free test of 154 pmol/L and total at 7.8 nmol/L.. Let's just say my body no longer responds to PCT and recovery for me is going to be one hell of a challenge. I am working with an endo, he will try assist me in 6 months, but for my health and well being he advised I go back onto test and we try tackle it together then. So I would let an expert advise if he is planning that, those months where utter hell for me, depression, weight gain, 0 gym, 0 concentration, 0 sex drive (so having a kid would be impossible if you not having sex), and the list of side effects went on. Second pin yesterday and I'm already feeling like there is light breaking through that black cloud I had over me.

I've been through those dark times and there is no way around that long adjustment period, and then you still don't know if your HPTA will recover. Luckily my T did get back to an ok level after about 6 months, but I can't think why anyone who's on Doc recommended TRT would put themselves through it unless they want to conceive.

Why not try HCG whilebon TRT to improve chances?
