2ml for the LP one. Drink the remaining 8ml...
0.2ml is 500iu then...

I believe you can also inject into your glute( muscle) is that true ?

If I have 5000IU Pregnyl can I load them into insulin syringes and leave it in the fridge? How long will it last in the fridge like this?

Keep them in a sealed container between two sheets of surgical spirit-soaked swabs. Take no chances.

Guys,
Just take care when using surgical spirit soaked swabs to store Pregnyl in(In sealed container in fridge at constant temperature preferably below 10 degrees Celcius). The ink measurements on the insulin syringes gets diluted by the surgical spirits. If it comes in contact with your fingers, which it will, don't touch the skin where you are injecting. Nothing has happened as yet, but you never can be over cautious where your health is concerned.

The pro's suggest it be done subcutaneous, but if you are already doing intramuscular you can pin the Pregnyl there as well. I did upper arm and glutes and it worked well for me.
P.S. I got the above info from a very respected member of this Forum.

I read somewhere that if you use the liquid that comes with Pregnyl, it will go off in about 2 days. That is better to mix it with bacteriostatic water and store in an empty sterile vial.

I have no clue what bacteriostatic water is.

How do most guys mix this stuff?

I have the 1500IU version and even the maths is driving me nuts!!

You inject the water into the raw and it mixes instantly. Like pouring boiling water into a cup with instant coffee.

What about the math is so hard?

Guys,

You did go to school??
1500iU Pregnyl vial + 1ml water vial mixed together.
Draw 0.33ml on insulin syringe X 3 syringes = 1ml.
1ml Pregnyl = 1500iU divided into 3 = 500iU per syringe.
Monday 500iU, Wednesday 500iU, Friday 500iU = 1500iU per week.
In the 1500iU Pregnyl box is 3XPregnyl powder and 3Xwater.
Enough for 3 weeks X 3 times a week at 500iU per shot.
VOILA !!
Math lesson over for today.

Do you use the water that comes with the Pregnyl? Does the solution last that way? As I said, I read on a site somewhere that if you use the solvent that comes in the box, you would have to use it right away, and that bacteriostatic water (what ever the hell that is) should be used.

Would like to know if that is indeed the case. It would much easier of course, if I could just mix it as it comes, and store in a slin pin for a week or so.

Yes, you draw straight into slinpin and those that you don't use put in airtight container in fridge (preferably between two swabs wet with surgical spirits). The mixed Pregnyl is good for two weeks in fridge at constant temperature below 10 degrees Celsius.
