Which do you prefer - subcutaneous or intramuscular?

Dosage and directions for use
In males:
It has been used in the treatment of cryptorchism in doses of 500 to 4 000 units thrice weekly by intramuscular (IM)) injection. It has also been given in hypogonadism in doses of 4 000 units thrice weekly.
In the female:
Usually, 5 000 to 10 000 I.U. IM for 1 to 3 days in sequence to treatment with an HMG preparation.
Administration:
After addition of the solvent to the freeze dried substance, the reconstituted Pregnyl solution should be administered intramuscularly.
