Ovidrel

Hey guys. Long time since i've been here. Looks like alot of stuff has happened "bbg". But lets get to the topic at hand.

Im starting my hcg next week of ovidrel. I just want to know if i got all my measurements right.

I need 500iu's 2-3x a week. I bought some insulin syringes with the orange cup, 50 units/0.5ml. Now to get 500iu's I need to draw out roughly 7-8 units.

Is this correct?

If memory serves, Ovidrel has the equivalent of 10000IU (Pregnyl).

So that means if you mix it with 1ml (100IU) water the 500IU will equal to 5IU on the insulin syringe would give you 500IU of HCG. If it comes with 2ml water then it will be 10IU on the insulin syringe

U c that's what im not sure about. In the leaflet inside the box it says its 6500iu's. I got this measurements from a post that jackrabbit made in doctari's pct protocal thread. He wrote to get 1000iu's u need to draw 15 units in the insulin syringe, so i took that and just divided it.

When Ovidrel just made its appearance I phoned the rep and she told me it’s equal to 10000IU of Pregnyl. But I'm now talking almost 2 years ago and the memory isn't what it should be.

6500iu Ovidrel =(efficacy) 10000iu Pregnyl

Doctari did mention somewhere else that he used 500iu actual ovidrel. I just always use 7iu Ovidrel - but i'm older and i have found that this number works extremely well for me. Go with the 5iu's for now - i bet it will be enough.

Wanted to ask, when do u guys prefer pinning hcg. morning afternoon or night?

I don't think it really matters as you not going every day but try to pin same time of the day if you can. I just normally did it at night before bed because that time I'm not that busy.
