PCT or no PCT was created by jacquespa
Hey Guys,

This might be a trivial question but should be interesting to find out what you think.

What would the difference be if one use a PCT after a Cycle than not using a PCT? And I mean by keeping gains etc...

I know you have to kickstart your Natural test but let me explain.....
Say one goes on a cycle for 12 weeks... just your basic Test cycle. In both cases you gym your ass off and also your dieet is 100%. Post cycle training and dieet is also kept in both circumstances...

How much of your muscle gained during the cycle would you keep if you either use a PCT or not. Obviously it would take longer for your system to restore to its natural state but don't take that into account.

Any opinions?

How do you mean "don't take that into account"? Thats the entire reason you lose muscle. If you don't do a pct your test levels will crash, some more severely than others and you will lose a lot of your hard earned muscle.

The key to maintaning your gains is for a smooth transition to normal test production, which is why HCG and nolva are a must. If you stop cold turkey you're going to crash your test levels and lose a lot of the muscle you gained.

There aren't any hard and fast rules as to how much you lose etc as its person dependant. But as a rule of thumb the better your pct the better you will retain your gains.

That is a very silly question it is not just about losing your gains it is about shutting your body down. And being shut down for too long can cause some severe danger on your body and in fear of never being able to regain a balanced level. Secondly you will suffer intense side effects, depression, mood swings, you will have no sex drive you will feel tired and have no energy. Put it this way you will not feel like a man, some more severe side effects is low test levels cause serious damage on the heart. This is not a game, you taking some powerfull hormones here and you need to balance your body out. Stop thinking in a box, we not talking about ‘muscle’ we talking about a delicate balance the body works with. We talking about raging cortisol levels and issues with urticaria and the list goes on and on and while we talking about cortisol we also talking about muscle and we talking about being catabolic. Don't waste your time on the cycle as you putting your body under strain and will end the cycle worse off than when you started.

I know all the side effects.... I know what it does to the body and how dangerous it is....

I will never do a cycle without a PCT. In the past I have done a cycle with a not so proper PCT, but hey, lesson learned.

I was mearly asking in the sense of what would happen. I read a couple of days ago on another BB site that there were guys doing short cycles. They were doing something like 4weeks on, 4weeks off, 4weeks on and so on....

with NO PCT. I assume they would use stuff like Test Prop and something like masteron or Tren A.

Have you ever heard something like that?

Yes I have heard of it and no I don't think its smart. I have read articles where some guys never do PCT in their life. I started steroids way too young but when I was in my 'late teens' I never needed PCT, firstly because I was only using 200mg of test a week and secondly never ran the cycles that long.

I believe you do a 4 week cycle, you do PCT. Tren shuts you down like a mother trucker, so I wouldn't see somebody using any of those compounds for 4 weeks and stopping. I also think 4 weeks is a waist of time even for short acting easters...

Thanks for informing us though, but 1 thing I learnt don't listen to those dam Americans! LOL

I only run short cycles these days of 6 weeks maybe 7, but always do pct and run hcg.
Whats the point of a cycle if you crash and lose half your gains afterwards? There's no benefit in not running a pct, so why risk it
