hcg question

if i getpregnyl at 1500iu each. how do mix it to make it 500iu as i will be following the pct advice on this forum and need 500iu shots eod. and do i just throw the balance away. please help urgently as pct starting soon

If memory serves then the 1500IU Pregnyl comes with 1ml water, so you mix the water with the powder then you divide into three which makes it 33.3IU (on the insulin syringe) that you'll need to inject

so i draw up 3 syringes. do i just leave the other 2 in the fridge. how does one store it- just in the syringe with the needle and needle cover on. what about bacteria etc

I just draw out one slin pin as I need it and store the rest in the vial in the fridge.

and its ok that the vial is left open?????

Yes, if it is mixed then it is okay,as long as it is in the fridge.

I use a slin syringe with the built in needle from DisChem.... and i use it until it is blunt. Thats about 3 shots.
In my hands i would suck up the entire 1ml in one syringe and dose EOD until done.
But thats ME! Dont do as i do!

do you not get premixed hcg in 500iu doses like an insulin pen

I would never inject anything premixed into my body bro.It too dodge with STD's around and Bacteria.I mean you don't know the difference between water in a syringe and HCG.

Why don't you just get the LP HCG dosed @5000iu that will do for a pct and it's cheap.

"Open" as in you have pulled off the rubber stopper? If you are doing that then you need to stop, leave the rubber stopper in place and push your needle through it rather. The vial is fine if left in the fridge with the rubber stopper still intact but the metal safety seal removed.

Ok here's the gospel so listen up. 1500IU Pregnyl doesn't come in vials but in ampules so like JR said mix 1ml of water with it and draw into one syringe and use that three times. I cannot see how you're going to keep the amp from falling over in the fridge once its open because its base is super small. I also use a slin pin until its totally moeg and actually hurts me.

I agree with Pumped on that the LP HCG is the bomb and cheap as chips.

Yes you must keep it in the fridge. Just use a insulin needle then you don't have to worry about changing needles!

You are aware that HCG is recommended to be injected into the fat, right?

If memory serves then Ovidrel does come in a vial yes, just take note if you use the Ovidrel then you need to divide the volume by 20 because Ovidrel is equal to 10000IU Pregnyl.

Best stuff around but comes at a price. I'd recommend this for PCT and LP for on-course use and light PCT where 19-nor wasnt used and very short cycle.

ovidrel comes as 6500 iu vial and 1ml water. how much should i pull into the insulin syringe to get 500iu/ shot

1ml = 100iu

6500/500 = 13 doses at 500iu's each

100/13 = 7.69230 iu's on an insulin syringe.

You do realize that 6500iu's of Ovidrel has the efficacy of 10000iu Pregnyl.

10000/500 = 20 doses at 500 each
100/20 = 5iu's on an insulin syringe.

thats what i worked out jackrabbit but didnt realize that it was equal to 10 000iu of pregnyl. i have two extra mls of water from existing pregnyl. if or can i add that in and then have shots if 15ius each

Why? Use the pregnyl then. It only lasts 30 days in Bacteriostatic water.

i only have 3000iu of pregnyl (1500iu x 2)- 2 amps. so i need 5000iu so i have to buy anyways and will have the extra water

If you doing DOC's PCT you going to need closer to 7500 to 10 000 iu. And looking at using around 500/1000iu of hCG in replacement of the Ovidrel due to the difference between HCG (Pregnyl) and sythetic HCG (Ovidrel)
