Letrozole and SERMs was created by soloR
I've been wondering if it is at all necessary to use a SERM like clomid for your PCT if you have Letrozole.

Since PCT is all about controling estrogen levels and recovering test levels, would taking Letro together with a SERM not be overkill?
Could it be sufficient to have Letro as your sole source of estrogen modulation?

I'm a few weeks away from the end of my cycle and have started taking Letro at 2.5mg for the first 4 days and 0.25 till the blood work says its ok to stop. In the first 2 days my minor gyno has already disapeared but I'm also getting some random joint pains.

Anyway what I need to know is, should I be taking a SERM during PCT if I've got Letro?
What are the pros and cons?

Thanks.

Letro raises free tets but does not stimulate the HPTA cycle- which is why we use SERM's So by using HCG ur stimulate the Testes, SERm's will block estrogen binding and stimultate the pituitary gland and Letro will Block Estrogen forming and via negative feedback raise free Test as a very nice little side effect. So the answer is yes-use both but not execevly imho

"Letrozole has shown to reduce estrogen levels by 98 percent while raising testosterone levels. The anti-estrogen action of letrozole is preferred by athletes and bodybuilders for use during a steroid cycle to reduce bloating due to excess water retention and prevent the formation of gynecomastia related breast tissue that is a side effect of some anabolic steroids.
Letrozole has also been shown to delay the fusing of the growth plates in adolescents. This may boost the effectiveness of growth hormone"

"Letrozole blocks production of estrogens in this way by competitive, reversible binding to the heme of its cytochrome P450 unit. The action is specific, and letrozole does not reduce production of mineralo- or corticosteroids. In contrast, the antiestrogenic action of tamoxifen, the major medical therapy prior to the arrival of aromatase inhibitors, is due to its interfering with the estrogen receptor, rather than inhibiting estrogen production."

"Letrozole (Femara) can be used to raise LH and FSH (which are hormones which signal your testes to produce more testosterone). It also, of course, will raise your testosterone levels (6) via this mechanism. Again, this is of interest to athletes and bodybuilders for obvious reasons. Letrozole (Femara), of course, can be used for post-cycle-therapy (PCT) to raise test levels, but for various reasons, Tamoxifen may be a better choice. Still, I have successfully used Letrozole (Femara) for this purpose."

hehe a few quotes which i found useful! i also thought maybe just using letro as pct!

Using Letro as a stand alone in your PCT is not that great an idea, better used as an add-on with other PCT components for reasons MxT stated.

It is not what car you drive, but the size of the arm hanging out the window.

no sure i wont use it alone as pct but do disagree on the statement saying it doesnt stimulate the HPTA coz by stimulating LH production it will thereby signal ur body to produce test!
