I have asked on similer topics but got no reply..i did my research but that was for pregnyl and i recieved my stuff from my suplier and now its ovidrel wich i wanted..i recieved it as two botles one containing piwder and one with water..do i stil take it once day at 20iu or 10iu and can i inject it in my bum?after its mixed it has to go into the fridge right??
Ovidrel comes in one unit vial, multi-dosed, at 250mcg. The vial is accompanied by 1ml sterile water for mixing. But I don't prescribe it that way. This is what should be done. Get a 2ml sterile water ampule and insulin needles. Draw up the 1ml ampule provided in the Ovidrel box and mix it into the powdered bottle. Take 1.5ml sterile water from the 2cc ampule and mix it in as well. Now your Ovidrel vial should have 2.5ml in it. Ovidrel is now used from day 8 onwards as 10IU's drawn into insulin needle twice per day. It is then used one day on, one day off. The last day will only have enough for one injection. Ovidrel can be used intra-muscularly.
So i can inject in the bum area..do i stil use the insulin needle if a take the shot on the bum?? And basicly i take two injections a day total 20iu a day??every second day..
potand,you can inject with an insulin needle into the skin on your belly, that would be the easiest thing to do,even into your delt, those little insulin pins are small,thing and so sharp you wont have an issue. yes inject 20iu every second day.
Thanx dj..do i inject inline with my belybuton like next to it or a few mm next to it..i know im not alowed to ask dono if the Q wil be a problem but can i find the extra 2ml sterile water from a pharmacy?
