Testing HCG with a pregnancy test. was created by admin
This is how to verify the legitimacy of your HCG using a home pregnancy test.

1: Reconstitute the HCG vial with 1 or 2ml water.
2: The powder in the vial will dissolve leaving you with highly concentrated HCG. This solution is too strong to be used directly on a pregnancy test, so you have to dilute it further.
3: Take a cup and add about 50ml of tab water to it.
4: Next use a syringe to draw up the contents of the vial and squirt this into the cup of tab water.
5: Stir it well for a minute or two before dipping your pregnancy test into the cup. (Some pregnancy tests come with pipette/dropper that you can use to drop the diluted HCG onto the test.)
6: The test will show positive if your HCG is real.

Do you use the whole vial? Isn't this kinda counterproductive and wasteful?

Pregnancy tests are very sensitive to small amounts of hCG (i.e. can detect pregnancy within 2 weeks of conception)
Can't you use 10 IU and dilute to 10ml. Thus you don't waste a whole vial.

Good judgement comes from experience.
Experience comes from bad judgement.

You don't have to use the entire vial. I'm sure you can use less for the test and as long as you dilute it further it should still work.

You only need a few drops for it to show a positive.

You still have to dilute those few drops, I tried and out of the vial they don't show positive, but once diluted the test works.

Maybe a different strength pregnancy test? I don't know. I've also tried and a few drops of regular reconstituted HCG gave 2 clear lines on the test. It did take a few minutes though.

The point is to make it work with any pregnancy test. Undiluted none of the tests I had worked. Diluted all the tests worked immediately.

I see many reports of fake HCG on the internet where pregnancy tests were used and now I'm pretty sure the tests were negative simply because the test couldn't handle the high dosage of HCG.

To date I have never come across a fake HCG product.
