No mood swings unless i'm doing a protein and veg day or something or someone really pushes my buttons,energy levels are tip top,my strength is up by quite a bit,my squat is up from 130 to 155 for 1set of 8 and 2sets of 12. Back is getting alot stronger...keto for my body is the way forward.

Nice improvements, yay another person who actually does squats, i rarely see people doing them, i see a lot of leg presses...hmmm i wonder why??? :) Keto is the way forward.

Keep it up champ maybe ill see u doing novice next year. I might compete if i can get my rhomboids going.

Hey i been squatting my life away recently, and the legs have grown, but a long way still to go to match up SNOK!

What weight you sitting on now and what weight you thinking of competing at? Im also aiming at the novice champs in april, wanna put on another 5kg lean at least on this cycle, then start dropping the bodyfat further.
Sure have some abs hey, thats one thing i got plenty of... tell you what, i'll trade for some quads :cheer:

Um, but im scared of needles...

Im weighing 93kgs at the mo, body fat last i checked was about 3 weeks ago that was 11%..
If i do try compete maybe go in at 82 - 84kgs.

Hows this for dedication,on my spinning bike doing my hours worth of morning cardio replying via my phone lol! Current weight 100kg bf 14% i let my injuries this year affect my waist line,i was aiming to do classic but coming in at 84kgs might be a bit impossible but will have to see closer to tif time...probably wanna come in 87kgs dry as possible.

dude you might be waiting for a very long time then,your body changes alot over the years and u will never compete if u are just worried about 1 think,i worry about my triceps but i am still aiming to compete,just do it u never know what u have got untill u try and u never know u might just win if u do even with your struggling rhomboids.

yeah, im worried about a couple things too but hell im gonna give it my best shot, will maybe do classic.. really depends what my mentor at gym reckons, she's gonna help prep me and advise on what division to go for...

Sitting on eighty now with 10%, so will be a couple classes below you guys, but trying to build as much mass as possible on this cycle, should end the cycle on >85kg if all goes to plan so will try come in at 79kg dry

I know the feeling SNOK, i always get the disgustingly ripped :blink: black guys at gym asking when the umlungu is gonna compete, haha, wanna try give them a run but gonna have to get the pre compo conditioning immaculate

Um, but im scared of needles...

Ah ok awesome. Will lakka to see a couple oaks i knw on stage make the nerves a lil bit less.

Ah those black oaks, i have no words, the one oaks back i want to chunder on it, thats how cut it is. but from the waist down is a joke they need to do a life time of squats.

Lungi is pretty much taking over from Retha at M&F, she's advising the new novices... She got a fair bit of experience competing, im just looking for someone to guide me through the process as its a pretty daunting thing when you dont have any experience...

DJ i'd imagine you well clued up in that regard, especially after prepping Ogre recently

Well all i can hope is that her nutritional knowledge is better than retha and doesn't just chop calories all the time like retha does,lungi is sharp with her training and i hope nutrition but to be honest i'm not sure how sharp her chemical knowledge is...what works for women doesn't work for men all the time..retha helped ogre for his first 4years of competing,i worked with him this year and he was bigger,harder and leaner on stage than he has ever been and he did less cardio and ate more than he did previously and his cycle was half the size than previous years...and i helped ogre's girl friend this year and she was 5kgs heavier on stage and leaner.

yeah true, well i need all the help i can get. ya lungi will help with my training and divisioning, as well as posing etc....

And of course i'll come to the forum, particularily one hairy squirrel for advice and comment on any diet and prep advice i get. Wanna be the best i can for this first show, but i dont expect to be near my peak. Im still young and inexperienced with a long way to go. really wanna do this for the experience and what i can learn from it
