Hi guys what are your guys favorite brands of creatine. I wanna start with some creatine when im finished with my ketogenic diet, but im looking for a really good creatine.

I would go for Creatine Monohydrate or Creatine diMalate.

The dimalate doesnt need a transport system(insulin) for its uptake like monohydrate, but I gain like 3-5kgs when I do the loading phase with monohydrate.

Using creapure for 9 months now, no problems but going to try CEE when bssa get round to sending it :whistle:

CEE is shit imo. Monohydrate gives me size,strength and a good pump.

CEE does zilch for me and its overpriced.Try it if you will, somw of my friends swear by it...

Thanks i got some Green magnatude but there not much of that left so will be buying some creatine soon. Will get the dimalate then what brand sells Dimalate?

I really dont know bro, I was in somerset-west a while back and bought some whey there at a shop, the dude told me I get a bag of CDM with it, so I got a ziploc back with some white powder in - Taste sour and is a bit less fine than creatine monohydrate.

I'd go with mono to be honest. if you don't want to use the simple carbs you can take ala + fenugreek. those 2 will help the absorption.

some have high b.p issues with mono though so they opt for cee. there was a study done though that found cee might not be stable when it reaches the blood stream and decompose before it reaches muscle tissue.

I also go for good old creapure creatine monohydrate.

I've mentioned this before but its worth posting here. One study involving a group of 30 men for 7 weeks compared CEE, creatine monohydrate and a placebo while doing heavy resistance training. Monohydrate was more effective and better absorbed into the muscles. Here is the link. The study concluded that creatine ethyl ester didn't show any benefit over monohydrate with increase in muscle strength or performance, and that much of the creatine ethyl ester was being degraded to useless creatinine.

Another study indicated that CEE's half life in the bloodstream is too short (1 minute) to effectively reach muscle cells in its ester form. Here is the link .

I'm using SupplementsSA Creatine Monohydrate Platinum Series at the moment, getting some decent results from it. Loading phase gave me a few headaches from time to time, but after that I've been feeling good.

Strength has increased and have picked up a kg and a half. Pumps are also noticable in the gym. R150 for 500g I think it was, may be over-priced but I'm not complaining

@Everyone: What insulin potentiators do you guys find works best with Mono? I know Gorilla just stated 7 different potentiators, but could I use fruit juice for example with good effect?

Fruit juice will be best as it will actually spike insulin! Insulin potentiators either act like insulin or increase insulin sensitivity, a few spike insulin(fenugreek).

Fruit juice spikes your insulin but it (fructose) is not as effective as glucose/dextrose at both refilling muscle glycogen or 'pushing' creatine into muscle. Fructose doesn't spike insulin for long enough to keep you in an anabolic state until the ingested creatine is available to be transported to your muscles.

Fructose isnt optimal, but its gonna do the job bro. I use grape juice and I gain 3-5kgs while loading.

I dont even think your gonna notice a difference.
