Lactose intolerent was created by MCJ
Hey guys

I have this young friend (still in school) who trains real hard. Very lean and ripped but is struggling as he can't consume whey or mass builders as he is lactose intolerant. Becomes very ill when drinking anything with lactose.

What can he use as a substitute?

@MCJ, I'm also lactose intolerant, tried a few different protein supps and read up on it.

Whey isolate seems to be the best bet for me, I don't experience any issues at all!

Other than that, I believe an egg protein based shake is also 100% fine for lactose intolerant people, I haven't tried it personally though as the whey isolate doesn't give me any cramps or bloatedness!

I am so severely lactose intolerant , it's literally a case of chug down protein shake and run .

ON Gold Standard is the least stressfull to me from the concentrates , followed by SSN

Can't really comment on isolates as prior to BSSA , I didn't want to fork out the money for them all the time .

Believe me when I say USN and Evox should not even be considered

If he can't stomach pure whey isolate, he should use soy protein.

I recommend a good Pro-Biotic such as Acidophilus Plus to help with the Digestion.
GR2 Shake should do the job it has Soy based Protein and has all 22 Amino Acids in it.
Let me know if you want more info.

Brad
