Hi Guys i have been shooting myself in the foot for the past 2 weeks, i bought the sa suppliment whey protien and i could not understand why my weightloss was so slow then i realised that my Whey has fructose in it so it was kicking me out of ketosis all the time :(. I would like to know if the SSN whey is ok to use on a keto diet?

I will be ordering Raw whey from now on its just that it will take a while for the order to arrive and i need whey as of yesterday, so i need to buy one for now till my order of raw whey arrives.

Its the carbohydrate amount/type that kicks u out of ketosis, fiber is a carb but won't kick u out of ketosis, but fructose will...

I got my ssn whey today i saw they have a new flavour out Bananna and toffee i got the plain chocolate as i drink it with water and im not to sure how bananna and toffee is gonna taste with water . The protien shake is really thin( i like that because then you know there are not to many fillers in the whey). I enjoy there whey but it is way overpriced i payed R480 for 2kg Madness i know.

I got it from Springbok for R480. Will never buy it again i will definatly buy raw whey from now on much cheaper and with no added binders and fillers. I just needed a whey for the next week or 2 till my Raw supps arrive.

@ Koe007 where do you buy the whey isolate you are talking about? Is it at Dischem?

If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you
