Hey Guys

Recently started looking into pea protein isolate from bssa as its price is insanely cheap per kg and its 85% pure and contains 8.7% of arginine per gram of protein which is insane !

has anyone tried this and whats your thoughts about is in terms of mixing and taste and effectiveness ?

so they claim !! and if its true its gonna rock my world beacause at R87 a kg its insanely value for money !! but i dont want to throw money in the water if its not worth it

I use pea protein combined with normal whey concentrate since pea protein tastes like shit. It contains 85% protein but the bio availability is much less than normal whey. Non the less, it is a good source of protein and combined with normal whey it makes your protein requirements allot more affordable

@ABCO1 do you think if I mix it with like peanut butter or like nesquick it would taste better or does it have that extreme starchy bitter taste ??

It taste like soy to me. I mix it to the ratio of about 70% flavoured whey and 30% pea protein. You will need allot of nesquick to mask the flavour. Best you buy a kilo and experiment. Worst case is you have to mix it with flavoured whey so you will not waste a sent either way.

There might even be the slight chance you like the flavour. I can't stand unflavoured whey either but there are a few here who loves the taste
