Whey Protein And Aminos was created by Legacy
Hi There

I just have a quick question. I am currently using a Whey protein supplement which states the following:

Serving size: 30g
Protein per serving: 23g

On the front of the packaging it states 5.5 grams of BCAA's as well as 4g Glutamine per serving.

Does this mean that each serving actually only contains 23 - 5.5 - 4 = 13.5g of actual protein.

The reason I ask is that when a protein test is conducted the BCAA's as well Glutamine will come up as Nitrogen but in fact it is not really accurate as these two are not complete protein sources.

Please tell me I am wrong.

Thanks!

you are wrong! Protein is made up of amino acids. Glutamine, bcaa's are amino acids! You do have 23g of protein per serving.
