I usually use either SSN or evo, tried the Muscleworks whey, but im not a huge fan.

I need to get the following :

BCAA
L-Glutamin
100% Whey
pre - workout.

Has any-one tried GNC? Was at their concept store in cresta last night, and they are pricey, but the sales dude said its worth it. their AMPLIFIED WHEYBOLIC EXTREME 60 - 60g protein per serving?

Also, a dud at work is trying to sell me some Herbalife products...any one have an opinion on these?

It really depends on your budget.
IMO best value for money, are usually the cleaner/more pure products. No added sugars and artificial flavours. Go and have a look at BSSA

Been using their Whey Concentrate, L Flutamin, BCAAS, ZMA, Creatine and a few other products for a while now.

Great results

I hear that they take a while to deliver.?

I am on their website at the moment ...the Whey Protein Concentrate Unflavored 1kg (Netherlands) says that it has BCAAs in it....do I need to be adding a separate BCAA stack or is this overkill?

Bru, just maybe send them an email and check if they have the Netherlands Whey? Cause I don't think so hey.. And if they do how many grams of the BCAA's are in a serving? I buy the BCAA separately and add around 5g to my pre workout and 5g to my post workout shake. A 500g last me for ages bru! I buy the American Whey from them. It's fantastic. 100% pure!

RE: Delivery.. Sometimes they run out of stock.. But doesn't happen often. I really get a great and friendly service from them. They ALWAYS try their best and thats all that matters to me. And their products are top class IMO! If you are able and have the funds.. Try stock up and re order when you still have enough stock for two weeks. Then it's okay to wait a couple of days they run out of stock.

It's my pleasure bru. ;) I personally would have added some dextrose, L-Glutamine and maybe the creatine CEE.
So...

Pre Workout:
Rolled plain oats [30 - 60g] and raisins with water - soaked overnight. >> this fuels my workouts and I really need it. You may wanna leave it out. Up to you. I'm not wanting to loose any fat, so I have different needs.
5g BCAA's
5g L-Glutamine
30g of whey isolate and 30g whey concentrate mix.
Blend all in water and drink 30min before your workout. Great pre workout if you train in the morning like I do.

Post workout:
60g whey isolate
40-60g Dextrose
5g L-Glutamine
5g BCAA's

10g creatine CEE - in cold water. Do not mix with your shake. The taste is horrible bru.

I add a lot of other stuff, but this is just the basics in my view. > oh and I'm a supplement junkie! Hahahaha!

Hope this helps bru. Please ask any questions.
Keep us posted.

respose

"Yes it does contain good quantities of BCAA.

Extra amounts of BCAA are required when your level of training is above the norm. Extreme training.

But if you take a good amount of protein before and after your workout additional BCAA is not necessary.

If you place your order this week you should have it before end of next week as Monday is a public holiday again.
"

SO I will place order now.

Going to leave out the BCAAs,

I currently do creatine monohydrate from SSN, tried first thing in the morning and last thing at night....I now do 1/2 teaspoon in my 10 am shake and again in my 3 pm shake.
The only thing I was missing was a stand alone BCAA,

Okay that's all good bru!

I always adjust my supplementation according to how my body is reacting to training intensity and other life factors.. ie stress, rest etc. For example if I did legs and I can feel they gonna be lank sore.. I'll add in a few extra servings of BCAA's, L-Glutamine and extra carb servings of sweet potato or the likes of, to my daily nutritional intake>> Works wonders and I'm hardly ever sore, but can feel I still worked hard and recovery is so much faster.

I think you got to play around and find out what works best for your body and whats gonna get you to achieve your goal.

Let us know what you think of the sups from BSSA? I have no doubt you will be happy bru!

Good luck and keep pushing hard bru! ;)
