Hi gents,

So im looking into Vit b12+Bcomp shots. I use to just go get the shot at my local pharma once a month or so. With new legislations, they now only do this with a prescription. I tried a few pharmas in my area, all with the same story. Some even claim milk twistles will also be prescription only from 2015.

In the search function I came across a recovery thread where Oupa said in off season with pct he pins them twice a week. And it helps alot, so I want to start using this protocol aswell.

So my question is, the Lennons Vit B12 and B complex 10ml vials for R25-28 on Bssa, are they any good, Quality, shelve life etc. Has anyone used them, and at what dosages would you do a 1-2 weekly subQ shot schedule? OR where can I buy a good quality B12+Complx vial?

Thanks

More and more pharmacies seem to refuse B12 and B-co without a prescription, but it's still worth asking around and if you find one willing to sell to you without a script you should get as many vials as they are willing to sell to you. It's also worth asking vets, because some will sell you 50-100ml vials, just make sure you get the plain B12 and B-co as some Multi-vitamin mixtures have certain vitamins in very high concentrations and that might be toxic to humans.

The Lennons B12 and B-co should be fine.

I've never felt an energy increase on B12 or B-co before, but B12 does help with increasing one's appetite.

So I went to the pharmacy section in my local chekkers just now when I was there, and asked to buy the vials. The girl called the pharmacist from the back, She explained to me that most pharmacies dont want to sell the vials as they are still in a grey area. She said the Neurobion was upgrade to S3, and Therefor now require a script to get injected by them, or to self administer. The other B Vit injectables that dont need refrigeration is still good to sell. She told me that they also, but only have the Lennons b12&Co. So I bought a 10ml vial of each to see how it goes. Was only R38 for both. Will do a SubQ shot tonight. I have a friend in the vet trade. Will ask him to try get his hands on some 100ml vials for me.

So Admin, can I mix them at 1ml each? 26-27g pin? Same style shot as pinning slin SubQ?

Will report back on energy and recovery levels after a few days EROS.

Cheers

You can mix them, but I take mine IM. I know guys take them SQ as well, but then 1ml of each (2ml) might be too much.

2Ml SQ did sound like alot to me. I use to get them IM at the pharmacy, so ill just shoot them IM myself. If I do 1ml each, how often do you suggest I Pin? 1,2 times weekly, fortnight's or monthly? And how long would it be advisable to pin them, before some time off if needed?

Sorry, one more question.
I still have half my one box of 23g pins left. If I do IM shots with 2ml mix of them, would the 23g be fine? I normaly dont have problems pinning prop with them 4days a week. Or should I just get a box with smaller pins? Say 25g?

I will take 1ml of each every two weeks, but once per month should be enough for most I guess.

The 23G needles will work just fine, that's what I use anyway.

Hey guys, just want to revive this thread to ask if it's necessary to take both B12 and Complex or if Complex alone will suffice?

You don't NEED either of them but if you're gonna do them then take both. They are dirt cheap so no reason why not to.

B vitamins have their place.. there is no difference between the injectable or the pills, bar the time it takes effect.. if you do become B deficient then you will need close on 4 times the recommended amount to correct this.. if you have problems with your red blood cells (being low) you may need to supplement. But the same could be true about iron.. however this is a b vitamin thread
