YES! His age! At 13, he is too young! I had a relative who was 18 then fail a medical cos of kidney function due to creatine. 3 months off creatine, he passed. At 13 does anyone really know what's going to happen to his kidneys? TOO YOUNG!Pyroclasm wrote: Is there any reason not to give him Creatine?

hey Pump, no supplementation? won't a jnr multi-vit and some whey or even ensure be good for him?? I give my kids multi-vits, scotts emulsion and stuff like that...ages 5 and 7....00pump wrote: No supplementation.. not nearly enough information around long term effects on supplements and children not yet developed. A balanced eating plan, include lots of veggies and have fruit. As your child grows up small things can be added here and there.. if he has a long term career ahead, you want just that, a healthy body that can recover quickly and hasn't placed much strain on his vital organs

Hey Bro, that's why I said fruit and vegs. If you not getting enough, that's when you need to supplement. Nothing wrong with some whey, as long as it's in lign with what your child requires, the kidneys are still not fully developed, so to much protein isn't the greatest idea, however you know your supplements and how much they can take
