Intra workout carbs

Hi folks,

I'm a fan of Ben Pakulskis nutrition and training regime as I always enjoy understanding the science and physiology behind muscle development.

One recommendation is use a fast digesting carb around 20 minutes into your workout along with BCAAs if your session will be longer than 45 mins.

I've always used Supplement SA massive muscle intra workout as I found it had a positive impact on my energy levels towards the end if the session.

I'm looking for a "cleaner" source of carbs for during my training to mix with my intra BCAAs.

Can anyone recommend a local product? Either waxy maize or similar fast digesting carb at a decent price.

Read a lot of complaints about the delivery time though. A bit skeptical to order from them. Checked yesterday at a few supplement shops and no one seems to stock vitargo.

BSSA is most likely the cheapest you can get Vitargo.

The word Vitargo may not be in the product name, but look in the endurance supplement section. Like the products for cyclists. You're bound to find something that'll work, it may not be 100% but that's no problem.

Ye I must admit I've been waiting for more than a week since payment and my order hasn't even been shipped by BSSA yet.

Give the USN vitargo a try. It has some really good ingredients that includes BCAA ' S, glutamine, beta alanine etc. Retails around R200 for 11 servings. USN has really stepped up in terms of quality. All USN products are now tested and you can request a certificate of analysis as well.

Evox carbo vitargo + nutritech amino blast = winning combo.

The amino blast has a v similar silky texture to BPI Blox.

I currently have nutritech amino pre 30 min before my session and then start sipping on nutritech amino blast + ssa massive muscle 15 minutes in until I'm done. Will try swop out the massive muscle with evox carbo vitargo. Thanks for the suggestion.

carbo vitagro is dirt cheap from evox and pretty good quality.
