IronKobra767 wrote: Hi guys. Just some feedback for those interested: As a preworkout this morning I took 3g Holistix taurine, 3 scoops amino pre and 1 scoop ssn cytoguard (I happened to win a packet of the stuff recently so thought I'd add it in after checking the ingredients).
Managed to kick off my session with 4 sets of deadlifts @ 160kg x 8 reps with minimum back pump. By the last set I could feel a significant burn but it was manageable and I could carry on with my session for the next 40 mins so it definitely helped. My last session I had to cut short due to the pain. Thanks for the info guys.

lobo wrote: I would say if you do deadlifts and take most of the legs out of the movement squeezing at the top its an awesome excersise to build the whole back.

Muscleaddict wrote: How do you take legs out of a deadlift exercise? The first half of the movement is almost all legs.

lobo wrote: If I do deadlifts its in a back session used to load the bar and have sore lower back for two days afterwards. Watched a videos of kais awhile back and since then I put it in at the end of a back workout and don't go heavy no more than 110kgs. The plates don't touch the floor at the bottom of the movement the bar stops about middle of the shin similar to stiff leg deadlift but don't focus on a stretch in the hamstrings. Can feel all the muscles in the back working if done right nice pump to finish off.
Fair enough MA the bottom of the movement is different to a standard deadlift but the legs are mostly out then.
