2012 study, says for max hypertrophy to take AA's pre-workout, and 3 to 4 grams leucine plus simple carbs post workout. Leucine is critical for protein synthesis.

Awe mack agree totally. Leucine does instigate this process, buy other needs the others (especially isoleucine and valine) If you have HMB on hand it is superior though.
