Thanks

Yeah there will be custom charges, not sure how much. Depends on weight and method of delivery .
as well as the value of the item.

Never fraternize with them as equals, never accept them as your social equals or they will devour you, they will destroy you.

I've never had problems when it comes with a courier but there's always issues if it comes with post. You can add about 40% taxes and duties onto your purchase including shipping.

hey vega, what issues have you experienced when shipping via post? I usually ship with fedex with no probs but my last order i forgot to change the shipping method to courier and it was sent via post. I am expecting a long wait. Would just like to know what i am in for.

Thanks

Oh, and dont just order one little thing, you will get shafted with the transport. Get a couple of things like a six months supply or somthing.

Thanks Guys.

Just want to make sure - for example:

Product price R100
Shipping R50
Duties and tax (R100+R50) x 40% = R60
Total cost R210

Is this correct in how I will get charged?

Thanks

I have found that it does vary, but not by much. Some of the last things i got i had to register with the medical control council when it came here. The parcels are stopped randomly so you will pay a little extra if the stop it for inspection.

You should be safe with your calculation.

From what I understand and the info above - use the INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS COURIER 2-5 DAYS - but I have no personel experience.

What happens if you order something not allowed in this country - eg prohormone?
How will they know what is inside the package?

Thanks

First... USE INTERNATIONAL EXPRESS COURIER. Remember that is 2-5 days to reach SA. If it slips through customs ad a week, if they stop it ad two. DONT EVEN CONSIDER THE OTHER OPTION.

Second, the product is listed in detail, so if they spot it they will stop it if it is not legal in this country. I would not order potentially dodgy goods with the safe ones, as i suspect you will loose the whole package instead of just the non legit ones. (Pure speculation)

Bloody Customs, dont trust 'em. :-)
