@ Mike,
Bud, that's a little rough hey, you can't knock Kevin as they don't manufacture they only distribute (as far as I know) and I personally use vitargo and can say with all honestty that it rocks..........

If you are going to feed it to your dog then make sure you give him a good protein shake 10 mins after and see what gains he makes as his nutrient and protein absorbtion will be greatly increased after the vitargo .......

Hi to all,

I have read all the forums but cannot find anything regarding the intake of caffiene (coffee). I consume about 10 to 15 cups per day and might admit reluctently that it might a tad to much but would it make that much of a diff. The views at gym differs and i would like the input of the guys on the forum.

My diet is reasonably clean and follow the advice from the threads now for 4 months. I do drink alot of water.

Well done djeasy. Know how hard oit is just to start up again.

Thanks.

Netro, i enjoy stirring a bit. I generally have a pet hate for mistakes (intentional or unintentional) on product labels. I reallly do scrutinise the ingredient list.

Netro, Kevin doesnt distribute. He imports the vitargo from Sweden (which I really like) but they (Juggernaut/ SA muscleTech) get it mixed with the creatine and glutamine by a company down here in Cape Town. They are responsible for the formulae and the labelling.

Not saying the product is bogus, but false labeling is not appreciated. The MCC also dont like false claims on labels.

@ Mike,
No worries bud andn lets see what Kevin comes back with, but you are right, mistakes on labels are not acceptable and often misleading.

@ Willem,
10 - 15 cups ????? You must pee like a race horse all day long. Just remember that caffeine is an appetite suppresant and that's something which you don't want to do. I usually recommend one cup in the morning and one before you train esp if you taking ephadrine, gives you a nice buzz, but first prize would be to have one a day max and just black, no milk or if you must have milk then fat free.

Hope this helps.

Try and ween yourself off and gradually decrease the coffee in take. A good substitution is green tea, not the tea bag ones, but the dried ones you put in a plunger. Have after meals as it improves digestion as well.

A couple of points on this one. There's nothing wrong with South African supplements as a greneral rule simply because they are local and there is plenty of dicey stuff from the US, although the market there is a bit more competitive. They do indeed have the FDA and the USDA, but we have the MCC and they are just as pendantic, in some cases more so. The MCC apes the FDA on most issues.

Maltodextrin is not a worthless substance in fact!! In some cases, you need a sustained release carb and that is a good one - believe me, none of us would do well living on pure ceramic filtered whey isolate, and would not be able to afford much else anyway, if we did. On Supps SA, they are a no-nonsense range of very sound products; their Supreme Whey is one of the purest and most consistent, their Tribulis is probably the best of breed locally and you can be sure their founder and CEO, Ewan Cromhout knows his stuff. Buy with confidence.

I use Supplements SA Pure Whey Protein - Strawberry myself and it gets the job done... my first choice have always been ON 100% Whey, but who can afford that these days?

I have to admit that SSA is much better than that Evox kak.
