This is why i don't see the use of glutamine. The stuff is really not necessary in ur arsenal, rather just use creatine. "MY opinion"UltimateThug wrote:

Makes no sense what you saying bud?
How do you space your meals, mine is every three hours, so I have my last meal 2 hours before gym, 1hour-45 minutes before gym I would take glutamine, 30min before have pre-workout...
The problem is glutamine has a high conversion rate, which makes it useless, read a study where if you take glutamine with food or especialy with insulin spiking carbs as you would with creatine almost all of it gets converted, so you taking expensive glucose... The only theoretical way of taking it is on a empty stomach or as empty as you can possible...

Thug: would it not take longer than 2 - 3 hours for your stomach to empty out, after all thats why its best to eat so often as it keeps you body working to digest the food thus keeping your metabolism going.

Ninety minutes after the glutamine administration load both plasma bicarbonate concentration and circulating plasma growth hormone concentration were elevated. These findings demonstrate that a surprisingly small oral glutamine load is capable of elevating alkaline reserves as well as plasma growth hormone.
