Animal Pak VS any multi vitamins was created by imtheish
Hey guys/Girls,

This is my first post.. just wana say big thanks for all valuable input you've given in all the other post. I've cracked myself up quite abit reading through all of them.

I have a question, its realy been bothering me. Animal Pak is just basically your multi-vitamen right? so how does it compare with regular vitamens?

I'm fairly new to this gyming scene, but i dont see how A-pak can be worth R450 a months supply?

any advice?

It is MUUUUUUUCH more than just your average Vit.
Rated No1 Vit in the world a couple of years in a row now.

Compare the labels and see for yourself.

Exactly as jack said, how do you expect to fit in a decent portion of every vitamin into 1 cap? It is not possible.. And what makes it worse is you need 2 packs if you want to match the correct vitimin C and Chromium, etc that Animal offers, thats allot of pills :)

Ja bro stop being concerned about supplements and get on a diet thats the single greatest thing that you can now do.If you wanna buy supplements use whey protein or pure protein it's the only supplement that is needed for recovery and protein intake.

If you wanna use a multi-viatmin supplement just take fish oil pills 3000mg's per day of Omega 3 AND 5 should be plenty.

To answer your question: Animal pack is the standard to wich every other multi vit is compared and only one comes close - ON Opti men. These 2 are much more than just a multi bud. It contains everything through to digestive enzymes ect.

As jack said, a multi vitimin is probably the most important supplement followed by glutamine..

LOL... @N3rd

sadly i was overwhelmed @dischem before i posted this topic.

And i went for the Biogen multivit as i desperately needed one, but i just couldn't walk out knowing i paid R450 for animal pak. LOL.

Anyway that aside, now i'm reading on other topics posted that Biogen & Usn is the same company... make me worry. so now i got 90 tabs to work through before i try something else.

maybe next year with increase i can by animal pak. LOL

I like Biogen's Multivit, have been taking one tab a day forever, (yes I know shame on me), but I feel its works and I can feel a difference when I'm not using it. I rate it good. Biogen may be made by USN, but (most of) their products are better formulated and work better IMO.

In that case rather use the Vital Sport - much better.

And the Vital gold???

i could feel the biogen vits working too, but then again, i've been training with no multi vits. so i suppose anything in that case would have created an improvement.

Vital is not a natural supplement (im informed). If you willing to take Biogen multi also check out muscle science's multi. Think it might be better and just R98 for 1 month supply

Here is just a copy and paste of some of the benefits, no point me re-writing them out :)

- Glutamine has been linked to protein synthesis. It prevents your muscle from being catabolized (eaten up) in order to provide Glutamine for other cells in the body.

- Glutamine helps maintain cell volume and hydration, speeding up wound and burn healing and recovery.

- Glutamine benefits you by replenishing declining Glutamine levels during intense workouts.

- Research has shown Glutamine can help you produce growth hormone levels. A study has shown 2 grams of L-Glutamine increased growth hormones by over 400%.

- Glutamine may serve to boost your immune system. For bodybuilders, this is important since heavy workouts tend to greatly deplete Glutamine levels. (Glutamine is a primary energy source for your immune system.)

- Glutamine is one of the most important nutrients for your intestines. It has the ability to 'repair a leaky gut' by maintaining the structural integrity of the bowels.

- Bet you didn't know this: It can even cure ulcers! Studies have found that 1.6 grams of Glutamine a day had a 92% cure rate in 4 weeks.
