BCAA question was created by m0lt3n
This may be stupid question, but still.
Taking BCAA will help in preventing your muscle tissue from being used as energy. But if you supplement with BCAA just before the end of the gym session and then do cardio, it is supposed to prevent catabolism.

Question, wont your body dig into this BCAA stores rather than your fat stores when doing the cardio (low intensity)?

Make sure to eat atleast 1.5 hours before u train. Not a big meal, like 6 eggs or something. THen take ur BCAA and pre workout drink 30 before ur training.
Do 45 minutes weights and the 15-20 minutes high intensity cardio. No endurance jogging or stuff like that.
Directly after training take ur whey and/or bcaa shake. USN has a nice BCAA Vitargo that is exelent for this. (just have to be able to afford it.lol)
It has peptopro in which doesnt go through the digestion system,it gets directly absorbed. Very good for post training drink.(during wont be bad either...)
anyway. Ur body wont have absorbed the BCAA's by the time ur cardio is done.
Are u taking caps or powder?

At the moment that is almost what I am doing, taking glutamine, BCAA, Argenine and leucine in my pre, mid and post workout drink in different quantities. I make my own shakes. BCAA caps I brake open. Still determining how much of each to drink where (ideas?)
I take my mid drink, (only glutamine and BCAA) 10 minutes before the end of my weights session.

Doesnt BCAA also bypass your digestion system? Quickly into your system?
