Off late there has been a bombardment of new types of pre-workout supps. Some good, some bad, all promising the same thing.
What i want to know is if these supps make u dependent on them? Will u be able to train with the same focus without them or do u need to take them constantly to get to that level?

I'm not sure what the long term effects of these supps are, but it seems that we're going from pre workout to pre workout always looking for something that's a bit stronger and gives a bit more of a kick.

I for one can notice this trend in myself. Started off with nothing, then moved on to creatine supreme, then crea-pump, then N.O. Rage. Now I'm considering Evox Muscle Punch.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on his.

It is the same with all supplements, firstly taking them all the time will downgrade whatever receptor it is using.

Secondly everything in life needs to be done in moderation that includes Multi vitims, one needs to have a break from something.

If you become dependent as a few of my friends have on eph, then yes this is a concern.

I do take breaks in between. Like few weeks off everything. I noticed that when i do go back, it feels much more effective.

I'm just not sure if i really need it?

Nothing that a real food mixture couldn't do. There has been pre-workout supplements for ever, people would say mix oats with protein shake and add ...

I don't use pre-workout supplements. I eat a meal around an hour before I train. After gym I have some toast / bread and a protein shake...
