What to choose was created by Nartjies
So I have decided to start my first cycle in April 2011 during the winter to bulk and then when my cycle is finished (16 weeks) I want to start to get into shape. Should I use a mass bulder with my cycle or a 100% whey protein? My stats, 80kg, 1.65, 26years old, bf 12%. I have been training for 2 years now. Oh yes I am a Girl.

say what?? A 1.65m girl at 80kg with only 12% bodyfat? I don't think so... That'd make you bigger than me... I'm pretty certain those stats are impossible to achieve without major juice usage, you'd be a she man by now from the amount of test in your body.

So either this is a joke or you have your bodyfat way way off, 12% bodyfat is really low for a girl

Um, but im scared of needles...

To be honest, you a woman, you have high estrogen, bulking with a mass building is going to add some ugly fat, you need to bulk clean.

I would only use whey, however I would get a diet, if you like you can chat to DJ you can use the contact us at the top of the page and pop him a message and he will get back to you.

He will work with you to help you bulk clean and then get you down to hard as nails.

Also what is your 'cycle' ?

ah now thats more like it. Yeah i agree with pump on that, dont go overboard on the bulking. Rather focus on building lean muscle and eating clean with a decent protein intake. What are your goals? Are you competing or planning on competing?

Um, but im scared of needles...

Thanx for the advice I will send Dj a mail.....not sure what I whant to do yet, I was thinking of competing but where do I start? If I do a cycle and the test me? My brother was on his first cycle last year he got it in the forum "how a first cycle should look like". At the momemant he is in the uk for business until September. He used mass builder during his cycle instead of 100% whey protein. I was just wondering what the diff is between the two. Hope you can help me out. I was at one of the kzn shows last year and met John Leslie and his girlfriend man they are so cool, Maruis Dohne is a monster, holy crap........

most of the mass builders have maltodextrin and dextrose as their carb sources. those are high glycaemic index carbs that should be used post workout only and possibly when u wake up pending ur insulin sensitivity. chances are with a mass builder you will pick up fat due to elevated insulin levels. im too am in favour of what the guys are saying. stick with whey
