Mass shakes are a waste of cash, you can get those carbs in as easy as pie. Also I think you need to start putting some researching into growth with low carb high fat / protein, instead of high carb, high protein low fat.
With a high fat diet you will bulk lean, with a high carb diet you will get fat and low on energy, etc.
If you have a proper protein / fat diet you don't even really need to supplement. I have a mate who is former SA champ and never touches shakes, he gets his protein in from fish / chicken / meat / eggs / cheese.
The nice thing with a high protein / fat diet is you can load up on carbs the whole weekend.
