Sleeping Pills was created by trubore
So I forgot my gaba and ZMA at a friends house and wanted to get up early to hit the gym...

Anyways took a S5 or something sleeping pill the doctor gave me a while back. Anyways I slept very well...

Don't know whether it played a role in it, but I almost dropped a dumbell on my face today... During warm-up... I was lacking focus, motivation and strengh just felt absent-minded the whole day.

Just wanted to know if the prescription stuff can have that effect or if I did something else that messed me up...

Thanks

Naa dude, common side effect of a sleeping pill.

I would never train in the mornings if I had one, I would train in the evenings or don't take one. I would say give it around 12 hours, unless you used to it.

Sometimes I get that exact same sensation when doing presses and my fiance the other day just came behind me at that second and corrected my arm. I said to her you know what I would have snapped my arm if you never corrected that movement and it was because I lost focus.

:) keep it real, don't use sleeping tabs unless you have serious insomnia

What sleeping pill are we talking about? I occassionaly take a dormicum if i need to sleep very early to wake up at 4-5 am. I feel great the whole day and fresh. Its the tranquilizers that make me feel horrible the next day.

Lesa you right, hypnotics are better. I do find stilnox to work better as it actually modulates gaba receptors

I take a Zolnox every night of my life and I feel great every morning but what kills me is Betasleep, I get up at 6 but only wake up at about 11.

If I take my post workout drink ( n.o. blast) there is no way I can fall asleep on my own... any advise on what to do? I have used stilnox, that helped a lot but you need a prescription in order to get them... :pinch:

Betasleep works good too, or even try melatonin, it makes me very tired.

not for either of those two. melatonin you find on the shelves and betasleep is schedule 2 so they will hand it over to you.

@creapump, in 2 minutes, you have told people to use 2 different schedule 4 and 5 drugs.

Please the last thing you want to do is use something like that before you have tried all other methods, or you will land up with a permanent sleep disorder and other health issues, every drug has another whole list of side effects, what should he take to counter that, and then to counter that until you taking 20 tablets just to go to sleep. Honestly... Don't give people bad advice that is dangerous to their health.
