Ok, so due to unforseen circumstances, I'm forced to start training in the morning.

I love muscle marinade, but crash heavily afterwards...

What can you recommend that will get me awake and to the gym but without the crash?

I've been using muscle punch by evox specially because it doesn't give me that crash. But recently i've noticed my body seems to be getting used to it so its not a good choice for the long run..

As DJ said, I could not go do a full workout without solid food in my stomach or id black out and have no strength or endurance. I don't care what Pre Workout drink I might be having. Actually I would feel shocking if I where just to take a Pre Workout supplement and have nothing else in my stomach.

That's so true, I almost past out yesterday at gym because I didn't have enough food in my stomach. Had to go to the gym coffee shop for a meal.

half the time i dont even suggest pre work out supplements in my diets, rather a pre work out meal,my view point of this is how many massive muscular stimulant junkies do you find out there? i have never seen a muscular crack head,so i dont suggest using them, look there is time and place,if u have had a stressful day and its a big work out then have something to boost your work out,but maximum twice a week and i would only say on big muscle groups such as legs and back even....

I use Jack3d for legs only. You right, firstly you become dependent on these workout drinks and secondly they not extremely good for you.

The no strength and endurance is the problem I'm having as well! I start out well but then...

Switching to a pre workout meal then...

The next stupid question is... What should I eat? (and how much)

@ Trubore, i know how you feel. Early morning training really effs me up as well, personally i have found that going to bed earlier makes gym the next a lot easier and more enjoyable.

But like the guys said, food is your best PWO.

Maybe try 1 cup oats, whey, peanut butter and some glutamine with skim milk and ice mixed in a blender a couple of minutes before gym. That way atleast you sot something in your stomach.

Would love to know if you felt a difference. I have been trying fasted training every morning for the last month or so and feel fantastic. Took a few days to get used to it, but I can definitely say I feel no ill effects what so ever. Probably going to get flamed to hell for saying that though

The body is capable of adapting to pretty much anything, just because your body became used to it, doesn't mean it's healthy or a better solution :D

Hmmm, so tried it, and can only describe the feeling as strange... Not bad, just not used to it.

I'm not a chest fan, but wasn't as strong as I used to be, but thats more due to personal reasons, not pre-workout supp. Lost 7kgs in two weeks:( . Anyways, time to get my diet on track again and start eating.

Thanks for the help guys, will try this again on Thursday.
