Yuck....why go for soy protein when there are plenty of other better 'real' protein sources to choose from. Doubt there are many vegetarian bodybuilders out there! :P

derek poundstone likes his soy protein. he believes that you should try and derive your proyein from as many sources possible, saying that it is then better utilized by the body...

for those who don't know who he is, he is a 155kg @ 1,85m strongman behemoth...
and no he is not a fatty, is actually quite lean, probably the leanest to compete since pudzianowski...

THANK YOU VERY MUCH! It is the best article I have read about soy protein up to date. It destroys all the myths about soy protein isolate being bad for men and bodybuilders. I am going to stock up!

Unless you are lactose intolerant or vegetarian, why would you want to use soy? It's more expensive than whey by quite a bit. Protein is protein, so rather focus on getting it from whole foods if you believe you're not getting enough.

Yep, my lady is lactose intolerant so she uses Egg protein.

The best growth formula you get is mother's milk, but finding some is pretty hard as women are very selfish and they don't like sharing it.

I used to drink bovine colostrum, but I don't have time to go and milk the cow myself and you really want to do it yourself, because you have to check for mastitis... You also don't want the first day's colostrum, you want those produced from day two onwards.
