amphetamine in ritalin .. and jack3d

I take ritalin to study (20mg) and the half life is 8 hours because it is a long lasting medication (4hours - dip - 4hours)

I sometimes take jack3d before gym during the ritalin halflife and we recently (today) was told it can damage my cns and that I'm psyco for doing it

I need some accurate advice and explanations to what does happen when I take j3 during rit because I get a sik peak in the gym.

Please help me

HOwzit bud I think the best thing is to seek proper medical advice. Are you add or adhd that you are taking ritalin? If it is for either of those, go to your doc. have a chat with him and see what his advice is. You may cause damage to yourself without realizing it or it may be fine.

Firstly David.biohazard is totally right. Secondly Methylphenidate, aka Ritalin is a schedule 6 medication i.t.o. SA classification and belongs to the group of medicines called central stimulants. It is mainly used to treat children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Ritalin works and was designed to increase attention and decrease restlessness in CHILDREN who are overactive, cannot concentrate for very long, or are easily distracted, and are emotionally unstable. adults have a greater likelihood than children of having serious structural cardiac abnormalities, and or serious heart rhythm abnormalities, coronary artery disease, or other serious cardiac problems. SO as a guideline Adults with such abnormalities should also generally not use stimulant drugs.

:whistle: I am no Doctor but if you only take Ritalin for study purposes only and you also want to take other, lets call them- 'suplements' you should definitaley consult a proffesional in this area and no a Pharmacists are just supposed to dispense these drugs not give advice, else they would have had the title DR. and the nicer office (GP, Cardio specialist).

There is no amphetamine in ritalin. It contains the psychostimulant Methylphenidate, which is structurally similar to amphetamine, but not the same thing. Jack3d contains methylhexanamine, which is also quite similar to amphetamine in structure. If you read the label warnings on most pre-workout supps, is tells you not to take them in conjunction with other CNS stimulans, which ritalin definitely is.

Eidolon is correct, the two shouldn't be mixed, the banned substance methylhexanamine can have some adverse effects when used with other cns stimulants. you should ask a doctor who knows the field well.

Yes on the tub of Jack3D the methylhexanamine is labelled as 1.3 Dimethylamylamine which is the same thing. It is known as Geranamine, the natural 'party pill' active ingredient.

When people have mental deficiencies or disorders they inevitably have an imbalance in brain chemistry and these drugs like Ritalin, Concerta and even anti-depressants are designed to restore this balance. As soon as other CNS stimulants that effect mood/concentration are introduced only a slight change can disrupt the order and deem the prescribed drugs ineffective.

My sister used to take Concerta for ADD type symptoms. She tried clen while on it and found that it kept her up all night despite a low dosage of 40mcg. I'm not sure that it was a direct effect from the combination of the (ritalin based) concerta or just an adverse reaction to clen on its own.
